I finally got to eat here after hearing everyone rave about this place. I believe Hunt’s is the only BBQ place within Henderson’s city limits now. The two ladies in the food truck were very nice & the BBQ plate I ordered was prepared and delivered so quickly, I couldn’t believe it! The price for all the food I received wasn’t bad either. The baked beans had little pieces of BBQ meat in them which was a nice touch. Finally beans that taste like they DIDN’T come out of a can. The potato salad had large chunks of potatoes with the skin still on, not what I’m used too, but also very nice. The BBQ sandwich was overflowing with meat, just falling out of the bun. I wish there had been a little more white meat on the sandwich. I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce on the sandwich either, but not a deal breaker. Overall a very pleasant eating experience & will definitely eat here again.

The food was excellent. Best barbeque in the area. The pulled pork was tender and juicy and the ribs just melted in my mouth. Also, if you can get there early enough on the day they sell brisket you’d wish you would have bought more. The brisket is spectacular. All of the sides are good, the baked beans are cooked with meat in them and are a meal by themselves. Customer service is great. Just be patient with them they are a small family owned business that’s doing big things.

Had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw and mild sauce, baked beans and pork skins. Not crazy about the beans, but I know everyone has different tastes, just not my favorite. But the BBQ sandwich was DELICIOUS! We’ve tried most of the BBQ places in Henderson, and this is the only one we like. The pork was tender and moist, had just the right amount of smoke, the slaw was fresh, with just the right amount of sweetness, the bun was super fresh and soft…it was yummy! So glad there is somewhere local with good BBQ!

We were driving from Jackson TN to Tupelo MS and stopped on the way. We were so happy we did! Every bite was fantastic. The mild sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the rib sandwich, pulled pork, and bologna. The staff was very friendly as well. If we lived in Henderson, we would eat here weekly. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

The presentation on Google maps doesn’t lead you to understand that this is a food truck in a parking lot with picnic tables next to the highway. So atmosphere, zero. I made the mistake of ordering pulled pork nachos. The pork was great but I can’t understand why they waste it in the mess they call nachos. Canned nacho cheese sauce, 5 tiny slices of pickled jalapenos, all buried in about a cup of chopped (and again, I think) canned tomatoes and a can of whole corn kernels. By the time we arrived back at our camper – about 10 minutes – the whole thing was a soupy mess. I’ve never seen nachos buried in corn, and never hope to again. My wife’s pulled pork sandwich was also a soggy mess, the only edible part was the pork. Maybe an off day for Hunt’s, but we won’t recommend you find out for yourself.

Hands down, best BBQ we’ve had, in this area. We bought a 2lb family pack, and the three of us ate several times. Definitely we’ll worth the money! We won’t buy BBQ anywhere else from now on. Very friendly service also.

1st time stopping by and I got the 1lb pulled pork family pack. Potato salad, baked beans and sauce was amazing. Not to keen on the pulled pork. It was chopped and quite a large amount of fat in it. I had to pick through it to separate the meat out. I’m used to pulled pork long strips of meat but that’s my preference. I will be stopping by to most definitely get the sides and try a different type of meat. banana pudding was great to.

I got the bbq pulled pork and my wife got the bbq pulled chicken with Mac and cheese for the sides, the meat is tender and tastes very good the Mac and cheese was very good also nice and cheesy a little expensive IMHO for it but if you want a lot to eat I guess it would be a good deal. Anyhow we will be back as they have specials each day and you can’t get them on other days… Can’t wait to try the nachos and also the tenderloins.

Ohhh my from the first bite to the last the flavor profile was Phenomenal . the right amount of heat From their vinegar sauce The slaw was frisp. from the freshness of the bun every thing about this sandwich was on point. Best bbq around. Love the family pack. Sooooo yummy. The pulled pork is amazing. Hubby loves the whole half chicken lunch. The baked beans are 10 stars. They are a meal in themselves. I would eat this everyday if i could afford it. (Not to mention i would be bigger than a bread box). I love the bbq sauce. Worth the drive . If you are lucky to stop by , you will not be disappointed.
