One of my favorite places to eat! Between myself and my family we have tried a lot of their menu and have never been disappointed (beefs, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, cheese fries) Highly recommend their cheezy beef, much better than a lot of other beefs. They even sell these red velvet cupcakes which are absolutely amazing. Prices are comparable to similar restaurants. Super friendly staff! It’s a large restaurant so it never feels crowded even when there’s a lot of people there. Definitely should come check this place out if you haven’t already!

Well this certainly will be the last time I order from this place and that is a promise. I work at a company near by and we have a lot of customers and clients visiting almost on a daily basis. I spend on average about $500 a month alone on handling lunches for my visitors at Mr. Beef alone. Today I called to make an order as I usually do for a group of 10 customers I have on site today. When I arrive I pay swipe my card and the drink I found out after wasn’t added to the order. Not a big deal but the big deal was the the young girl behind the counter and snapped back at me and said “WELL I READ YOUR ORDER BACK TO YOU AND YOU DIDN’T ASK FOR THAT” like arguing with me about something so simple. I did in fact order it and I don’t appreciate the unnecessary uncalled for attitude and also in front of other customers that were waiting for their order.

I found this place when I was working in the area back in 2005 and I would stop there for lunch all the time. Unfortunately I live far away and can only stop in once in a while now. If you don’t care about calories and you like great tasting food, this is a place for you. They serve up a lot of the classic Chicago beef stand foods. They have Italian beef, I always go with the cheezy beef. They also serve Italian sausage, burgers, hot dogs, gyros and pizza. If you are in the area I would recommend that you stop in for a cheezy beef.

Honestly a beautiful pizza experience, their pizza is amazing, their older arcade machines made me smile and their staff was super nice! Also this is just a really rad old diner type of experience! I will totally be back for some pizza!!

Burgers and beef sandwiches are really tasty!!! The burgers have a nice char grilled flavor personally better than Portillos !!! Love the cheese fries they actually put the liquid cheese all over the fries and the cheese has a good flavor!!! The chocolate malt was really good too. Definitely worth the trip from Elgin Illinois!!!
