Great service my Marco, at first I was kinda skeptical about his good google reviews, but in fact the hype is real, he is the best bartender ever, at one point in the night (Marco Mondays) the bar run out of napkins and he let us use his dreads as napkins, a true hero, definitely coming back again.

This place had a really fun vibe, good happy hour specials, and very friendly waitstaff, but this is not the place to go if you’re a vegetarian. The menu totes vegan nachos, vegan tacos and cauliflower wings. They were out of cauliflower so we ordered the vegan tacos. For $14 we got 3 tiny street tacos with shredded carrots, salsa, cilantro and mayo, with a side. It was very overpriced for what we recieved. It doesn’t take much to keep a bag of frozen vegan meatless crumbles in the freezer to use, which would have totally changed the meal.

Went for early dinner taco Tuesday. Read reviews. Tipped waiter $2 before we started no problems. Groovy mix of people. Business suits. After work to get a drink. Family kids. College kids. Mississippi oil field workers. Went again took Mom. Silverware, Plates, table service, cannot beat that.

After experiences at other restaurants in the valley, we were pleasantly surprised to finally find one with decent Cajun fare. The boudain balls were small compared to what I’m used to, but tasty. Our étouffée, jambalaya, dirty rice, & crawfish tails were flavorful & packed a nice heat. I only wish the crawfish tails were offered sauteed instead of fried, but that’s just a personal preference. The atmosphere was nice; some Big Easy jazz or something along those lines playing would add to the ambiance. While the bread pudding isn’t like what I’ve had in the French Quarter, it was still very good. Our waitress was polite & very attentive. Only thing that definitely needed attention, & this was before they got busy on a Friday night, is the women’s restroom, which stunk & looked messy. Overall, a good visit & we’ll definitely be back to give some other menu items a try!

The food is good, but the place is filthy now. I don’t remember it being this dirty. I guess, it has gone down over the yrs. The restrooms smelled, the table was sticky, the floors are dusty. A good cleanup is needed.
