Thumbs up from a Texan via NC! My husband REALLY liked the Brisket Biscuit sandwich! Super friendly staff. Plenty of non-meat options. Excited to go back and try some pickles, roasted veggies and potato salad. The Strawberry Lemonade was beautiful and quite refreshing.

Soooo good! Very happy to have a solid BBQ spot in our neighborhood. Hubby and I split a full rack of ribs with Mac salad and Mac n cheese. The sauces are very unique/delicious and the meat was falling off the bone. Hearty portions. Also had a sweet dog zone and outdoor patio, perfect on a Bellingham summer evening!

Love some home school bbq!! Cucumber mimosas… max and cheese and brisket. Brisket plate. Pork belly. Their biscuit sandwiches are lovely. You really can’t go wrong. Decor is gorgeous and the owners are absolutely the sweetest. Grateful to have such a community oriented delicious bbq spot in town!!

My wife and I stopped in yesterday for our first visit to Homeschool. This place is awesome. The owners, service, and food are fantastic. We had the exquisite pork belly with some great sides and cocktails. Throw in a cool environment, and we have a winner! We’ll be back for sure to try the ribs and other good stuff!!

My favorite food is ribs – if it’s on the menu I’m getting it. This place has the best ribs in all of Whatcom and Skagit and there sauces are amazing. We sampled just about everything on the menu wings, chili sides, ribs, brisket, pulled pork it was all wonderful.

Loved loved loved this quirky neighborhood BBQ spot in Bellingham. The whole experience was wonderful: a fun, friendly atmosphere inside and out (we sat outside); helpful service (our waiter was funny and 100% reliable with his recommendations); and GREAT food. Wow. I had the “brisket biscuit,” which was absolutely delicious — meat and bread both . Others at our table loved their food, too. Yummy house BBQ sauces to spice it up, and all the sides I tasted (traditional potato salad, German potato salad, mac and cheese, baked beans) were super tasty too. If I lived in Bellingham, I would hit up this place once a week!
