Our server Giannina was super friendly and welcoming! She gave us the rundown of the menu took our orders and it came rather quickly. She checked in to see how the food was and if there was anything we didn’t like or anything else needed. She went above and beyond and made eating at this restaurant feel like home! Amazing food! Amazing service !! The queso frito con salsa de guayaba is a must!!!!!

I went here due to the reviews stating how delicious the food is. However, I beg to differ. All the dishes ordered had no flavor at all. The presentation was beautiful, but the food tasted worse than bland. The dishes are overpriced. I saw the servers bringing g in Pizza and at 1st could not understand why would they be eating pizza when they work at the restaurant but after trying the food I completely got it and wished I had a slice myself. The restaurant itself looked so low budget. I was shocked. My family could not believe it when we walked in. Our server was very kind and attentive. I should also add that the restaurant is right next to an adult store. There is very limited parking. My family and I could not wait to go and we were so happy we finally went cause we know for sure we will never go again.

Food was good. We ordered a couple of dishes, cilantro rice¹⁰, chuleta can can nice and juicy⁹, asopao de camarones…ok⁵ , carne guisada carrot and potatoes⁶ too large but good flavory Service not so good i guess it was a busy night, didnt bring mofongo sauce to table. There was no dressing for salad, she just didn’t pay attention. Overall good restaurant, service can improve

Food tasted good, wasn’t a big fan of my appetizer. But presentation was good . Staff was patient and pleasant..you might wonder why 3 star. Food took awhile to prepare, probably its being made to order which wouldn’t be a bad thing. And although my waitress was very pleasant had to keep reminding her of things I had asked for and each time had to wait. Wrong order came originally, but they quickly corrected it ….with a new wait time . So 4.5 for the food. Attention to details and time 2….Mofongos seem to be a favorite, almost every table ordered one.

First visit to El Cilantrillo and was not disappointed. Yehudiam provided great service and the food was fresh and delicious. The guava cheesecake was a great finish.

WORTH TRYING — Great presentation, good food, okay service, nice atmosphere. Tostones de Pana OK, but not what I anticipated. Roast pork was good, Red Snapper mofongo was very good, and beef stew were both very good. A little pricey, but I’m sure we’d go back.

We came here for a family members birthday and we ordered appetizers before our food and our food came out before the appetizers. Sad to say the food came out ice COLD like the beans tasted like they came straight out of the fridge, other family members ordered the El Parrandon and it was also cold. The waitress Natalia also forgot to place the order of one of the dishes we ordered and told us that the chicken was made wrong and if we wanted to still order it or don’t want it then when we explained that the food was cold and a dish was missing Natalia the waitress said ” Oh sorry do you want your bill”. There was absolutely no consideration here she treated us like another check that goes in and out. The service was very tasteless and we will not be coming back.

I went (4 adults and 1 child) to the new El Cilantro located near Florida Mall on Sunday, August 14th. We check in at 2:57pm, and was told wait time 30 minutes. We went in at 3:30pm to find out what was the delay. There was a lot of people waiting. She said the Manager ask them to clean the table area floors because it was dirty. Saw a lot of empty tables and less waiters in the establishment. Well, it was 1 hour and 14 minutes when we were called. Finally got the table and another 15 minutes for waiter to take care of us. Nancy was our waiter. Very nice, friendly and apologetic. 3 of us did not like the food and only 1 person that was with us like the food. The other El Cilantro restaurant located in W. Vine street has better service, very efficient, lots of waiters and the food is great. We will not be going to the one located near Florida Mall. I am not recommending any dishes below. I had to rate this restaurant with 1 star.

This place seems to be always busy. 45 minutes wait and the food also took a while since it is made to order, so that’s a plus. The best part of the restaurant was the staff, very attentive; I am from DR so mofongo it’s done differently over there, but the waitress was patient enough to take the time to explain the difference and avoid surprises, she also explained that since the food is made to order it usually takes some time to come out and suggested to order an appetizer since we were starving.
