My first time trying this place and I was very disappointed. The food was subpar, I got the okra soup with chicken and fufu. The only thing I could eat was the fufu, it was nice and hot. In my opinion it was not worth what I paid. The okra soup was scorched and they just placed two pieces of white meat chicken (what appeared to have been fried) in the container of soup. I asked for okra stew with chicken but I could of drove across the street and got Popeye’s in this case.

I am new to North Carolina and I wanted to try my fiancés native food so I found this lil spot! It’s a lovely food truck nestled in the Corner of the parking lot.. if you don’t know it’s there you could drive right by!

I was excited to try some new Nigerian food but sadly was disappointed. The best part about this dish was the fufu and egusi soup. The meat was dry and bland. The fried chicken wasn’t even fried and tasted like 2 day old chicken, the goat was mostly bone and fat and wasn’t edible. I will not be going here again but the owner was nice, maybe I just got a bad plate.

Ordered efo riro and egusi with fufu and both were ultra delicious, can’t wait to go back. They even gifted my small child with a treat. Best African food in Raleigh, from someone that moved from DMV.

I brought their food before going back home in Chapel Hill, which is a 40 minute drive. The food was still hot!!!!!!!

This was the first time visiting this location as it’s in a small trailer behind the auto-parts shop. This was the first time trying the fufu and Egousi soup. It was a decent portion sized but a little pricey. we got 2 drumsticks and about 4-6 cubes of beef. The soup was extremely spicy in certain areas but I did really enjoy it. It did taste pretty good for my first time but I was saddened they didn’t have the goat meat and the chicken was fried chicken drumstick. But still good!

My first visit today! Great Service with much detail and a smile! I have been craving Nigerian food for over a month and grew tired of waiting on my friends to make it as I know it was a big ask. The food was delicious with a nice level of spice and heat but not overly hot and spicy. Very tasty soups. I had the vegetable soup and pounded yam (with goat). I now have a place to go to and wish I had found it sooner. Can’t wait to tell my friends about Chop Naija.
