We are a family ran restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended. Times have changed and we are doing our best to adjust. We won’t be making an abundance of fried chicken on Sunday’s so if your coming for that please call ahead so we can reserve your order. With such a short staff and employees / owners working long hours to keep the doors open. We are doing our best to provide quality service. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Love the Heyday family.

The atmosphere is old west casual, yet definitely a step up from your casual dining. Only drawback, conversion can be difficult because of the noise level from music and conversations from h the bar. The food is well prepared and beautifully served. Service is good.

This is one of the only restaurants in our valley and we are glad it is exceptional. We have been to the Heyday many times over the past couple of years, have taken many of our guests and contractors and have yet to have a bad experience. Food is fantastic (Sunday night’s Fried Chicken is delicious and sought after so must be reserved in advance), service is great and the cocktails are awesome. We have yet to try the picon cocktail though but will soon. Highly recommend this historic restaurant.

First time for my husband & I to go to this place recommended by some friends for our anniversary dinner. We had high expectations because of all we’ve been told but our experience was not as pleasant. Our server appeared to be drunk spilling our cocktails on our bread & salad. Then come to the main course she continues to spill the scallops I ordered then to push them back on the lil bowl plate with a table towel she used to prolly clean tables. I’m not one to leave reviews but considering how horrible our experience was I felt the need to bring this to light.

This place is hands down one of my favorite places to eat!!! The service is always excellent and the food is top of the line. Tonight I enjoyed the Beef Wellington and let me tell you, it was cooked to perfection. The meatball soup they serve is like nothing I’ve never had. No matter what it is always worth the drive!!!

I’d call this American during the day and basque in the evening based off the menu. This is my first time going here and I will absolutely be coming back. I came for brunch and had a very good Bloody Mary, the the blackened french dip, and garlic fries. This french dip is definitely one of the best I’ve had. I love a good french dip, but sadly it’s often bland with what seems like cheap deli counter roast beef and packaged reconstituted au jus. This was obviously made from scratch with care, and was extremely tender and flavorful. Other dishes in my party included a huge jucy burger, and chicken strips that looked like they had the perfect light crispy beer batter crust even I would try (I am not someone who orders chicken strips). The food was simple but I have to say it again; it was so, so flavorful! There was only one person working the front due to unforseen circumstances so we had a very leisurely meal and it was absolutely fine with me to have a tasty memorable meal that was absolutely worth the cost of going out plus the 35 minute drive it took me to get there from home.

Three of us rode from Reno to Wellington for lunch at the Heyday Inn. We had cheese burgers with fries. Great tasting meals and very attentive and attentive staff.

We finally got the chance to eat here. We ordered the Paella and Beef Wellington, both were delicious. The soup was pretty watered down and the salad was simple. They cook the vegetables in corn starch, a flavor I had to ask about. We learned we can request steamed veggies instead 🙂 we saw a LOT out lamb chops served.
