We visited John the Baker when one of our favorite places was closed. Now, this is one of our favorites. We love the lunch specials in particular. They are delicious and don’t cost too much. Our favorite meals are the eggplant parmigiana and lasagne dishes. The mouthwatering garlic rolls are absolutely amazing. We always ask for seconds on those The Chicken parmigiana and salads are also very good. We’ve tried the pizza and it always seems to come with empty bubble spots on top, So, we stick to the lunch specials and get the garlic rolls and are always satisfied customers.

Really good and great 100% customer service.. Camilla was our waitresses, and she was amazing, just friendly over all. Plus, she rang the cow bell for my daughter’s birthday thank you so much .. my husband and I over love our pizza and rolls . He said we will no longer order pizza from anywhere else only here. He’s very particular on his pizza, and thin crust has him always wanting to come back .. thank you all for what you do best.

By far one of the best pizzas in the areas, New York style. But in pricey side but well worth it. Well located on Sample Rd and university Drive. Fun decor, staff is funny and energetic. They served us every Friday night well during pandemic.

This is by far the best pizza I have had in over 30 years. And the garlic rolls are amazing. We had to take it to go because they had a child’s party going on inside and the noise was unreal. But that won’t stop me from going back again. Absolutely delicious

just ordered eggplant parm sub. is the best I’ve ever had! No bread crumbs, only egg and flour with thick slices of deliciousness!!

I love the wild mushroom stuffed ravioli . I used to order the individual pizza a lot, but they have changed their pepperoni to a hotter version that’s too spicy for me. The salad is very generous, and the garlic rolls are absolutely to die for! My husband loves the meatballs with extra marinara sauce. The servers are amazing. They learn your name and remember what you ordered last time, your allergies, etc. It makes you feel like family. Their Italian sausage is their own unique recipe and is very good. One thing we don’t recommend is the lunch lasagna. It is made like a thin, rather messy individual casserole, not a thick square as in other restaurants.

The attitude from the staff from when you walk in to when you leave is absolutely atrocious. One waitress just stared at me while I greeted her and then looked away as if I was bothering her. The food is over priced for the portion size and I haven’t even tasted the pizza that I ordered yet (which is a 9″ and yet its taking over 20 minutes and other people after me are being served. Never spending my money here again unless there is some serious changes to the culture I have witnessed here. 2/5 stars

Great local and family-friendly restaurant. They have great cheeseless meatballs. We’ve only eaten there twice, and we’re remembered from the first visit.
