Worst Caesar salad ever. Burned the chicken(how?!) the bread was overly toasted. No croutons. Just horrible for $10 no check en they charge you $5 for a bowl of cut up Romanian lettuce. Never again!

Pizza are good and other stuff they have but the service not all great. At times I’ve called before 6 for delivery but they don’t answer. Delivery is not that great neither, I once had to go get my order cause the driver couldn’t find my address.

They make an amazing slice of pizza and the Buffalo chicken is to die for. Rating a 3 because you absolutely must order by phone or in person if you are making an order after 6 or they will cancel your order. I have had my ordered canceled multiple times on Seamless and on Slice because they suddenly closed according to those apps.

The food here is pretty good. My favorite is the chicken pasta with garlic oil and broccoli, 10/10! Literally has me in a chokehold. Absolutely delicious. Please don’t ever remove it from the menu!

Owner was extremely disrespectful, rude and inconsiderate. Prices for same order changes each time you order going up and down. When I asked employee about extra fees for toppings they said I can check the prices online which is ridiculous since they should know. For this I rather go downtown and pick up pizza from Pizzeria Las Americas which are a lot better pizza wise and customer service manners.

I have been ordering pizza from Pompei for years. I placed an order and then called back to get the total and when I asked why the prices was so high they said there was an additional price for Garlic of $3.50. The additional prices was not the problem for me, it was the answer I got when I told them that this should be told to the customer at time of the purchase. The response I received from the employee was “the prices are in the internet”. I asked to speak to the owner. I got the exact same response from the owner with an additional comment of “Buddy”. I told him that’s not a way to talk to a customer and not to call me “Buddy” and he said “Buddy do you want the order or not”. Certainly I did not want the order after being spoken to in such a disrespectful way. That is not the way you speak to your customer, let alone one that has been ordering for year. I will never order from them again. If you deserve to be treated with respect and I am sure everyone does, I don’t recommend you visit Pompei Pizza in Jersey City. They are far from providing the service customers deserve!
