Love Elda’s! The best option for authentic Mexican food in the area. Filled with local folks and visitors. The chile rellanos are outstanding. Enchiladas are great. Our fave breakfast spot. Always get some rellanos to go for camping meals. Nice folks, too.

Where do I start, Edna gave me and my girlfriend the best dining experience we’ve had in 6 months! The food was 100%authentic home cooked Mexican cuisine, all ingredients were fresh and the quality of the meal was the best Mexican I’ve had in the four corners… Edna addressed every customer by name and treated them like family, we sat back and watched her interact with them as if they were her family! One after the other! Until a very elderly lady had come in to pick up a order she placed, she realized upon arrival she had messed up her own order when she placed it, Edna was very understanding and remade the tall order although it was not her fault. She reassured the lady that it was okay and mistakes happen. Edna then carried the meals to the woman’s car for her as it was too heavy and the customer had a cane. .. this made me feel so good to see the love Edna has, which is rare as hens teeth now days. Edna accommodated the fact that I had a doctors appointment in 1 hour and she put a rush on our order, what a sweet heart! She conversated with us and checked on us every few minutes as we ate our meals to be sure we were enjoying them! She has made 2 new life long customers. Me and my love were literally shocked and for the next hour talked about Edna and her sweet heart as if we knew her for ever, as that’s how she made us feel. I don’t know how I missed this place for years being just down the street from my home. Stop in and meet Edna and try the food! Oh and the price was more than reasonable. Only $28 for 2 meals with large drinks and all the fixings, and after the love and hospitality edna showed us we were inclined to leave a generous tip and assurre her we would be back soon!.
