Definitely a place one should not miss for delicious Malaysian / Singaporean food. The Hainan chicken rice was reminiscent of my childhood taste – that tender texture and that special flavor of the sauce – certainly among the best here. The roti was such a hit – super airy and light overall, crispy outside and doughy inside. As for the curry laksa, nice flavor but a bit too watery and the prawns overcooked. Shall come back and try some other dishes 🙂

The restaurant brings me back home. One of the best Malaysian foods I’ve had overseas. My personal favorites were the Nasi Lemak and Curry Wan Tan Mee. The drinks were really well made, and the service was amazing. The Kaya Toast and Char Kuey Teow were average. The owner is really friendly and you can order in Mandarin/Cantonese.

Amazing food and friendly service (waiter spoke Cantonese). The Hainan Chicken and Kaya Butter Toast were featured on the menu as “Best Seller” and for good reason. The Roti Canai, Nasi Lemak, and Curry Laksa were really good too. Food came super fast as well; we came at 8pm.

Curry and roti was very delicious and I highly recommend. The kaya and butter toast was very delicious, but very heavy on the butter. Next time would order just the kaya and toast without the butter. Wonderful atmosphere and great service

For breakfast I like to get the kaya toast with soft boiled egg. At other times I like to start with roti canai. I enjoy the noodles (char kway teow) and the rice dishes like curry chicken or Hainan chicken. I mean it’s hard to go wrong here, everything I’ve ordered has been excellent.

Wow, blown away by this place. It felt like being at a hawker center in Singapore, food wise I mean. So great to have this business in sgv. I had early dinner with my wife one day and came back for lunch the next day! Hainan chicken slaps, roti with curry is unbelievably good. Their kaya butter toast was also great. Chicken wings were phenomenal and laksa was also very good. Rendang was good but very heavy! We also got Chay yee noodles and for breakfast 9am-11am, lunch and dinner are all different menus. This business is a treasure and so glad we can get food this amazing in la. Savoy kitchen has some competition now!

Neat and clean space with great Malaysian food. Not too many options, loved the roti canai and beef rendang. Those were the best.

I got lucky and came here when there wasn’t a line. I will say this place is good but not entirely worth the long wait they normally have.

Delicious Hainan chicken! reasonable pricing and great portion of food. Didn’t know it was Michelin Bib Gourmand before visiting, but it turned out really tasty!
