Love the crew over at A SLICE OF NEW YORK! Shout out to Remmy for providing excellent customer service!!! They are always friendly, helpful, fast and hard working. Great little pizza joint with AMAZING FOOD! You can get Pizza by the slice or a whole pie. They have Calzones, Stromboli, Chicken Rolls, Sandwiches, Gyros, Appetizers, Salads and Pasta . They even have dessert. I highly recommend A SLICE OF NEW YORK for your next meal

This place is of niccolet and 22nd I think Southside of Minneapolis when you walk from the front entrance on the street you go from a ghetto like street area because of the over abundance of mtc bus stops and little overpriced convenient stores attracting more riff raff then needed in that area plus it’s not far off Franklyn Ave but none the less you transform into this ristorante full of great pics and atmosphere that you’ll forget where you just came through and relax a calm comes over you the good smell of hand made Italian treats sold a lot by the slice good staff ready on the spot for your order for there or to go .. I remember the slice of New York downtown years ago we d go there after a rock show that had run late but this is better to sit down and take a date to have a slice enjoying the artwork on the walls as you consume there slice of artwork new York style foldable slices with an ibc rootbeer sitting and looking at all of it taking it all in ..well Jan and Jim q public and google maps reporting to you as local guide and reviewer im the manthatmotos .and like I said take a date her guys show ing her a little Southside danger but more culture and coolness and you couldn’t go wrong at this Best place to go while in the city Thank you to you all off like a flash burning 4 towards that next door of opportunity to report to you friends goodnight be safe see ya !!!!

We have lived in Georgia for the past 4 years. When we finally came back…. there was no disappointment. Don’t get me wrong. Not the best neighborhood. I wouldn’t go after dark. But, tell you what. Best pizza in Minnesota. And with prices rising everyday, everywhere. I fed 3 with a pop apiece for less than 20 bucks!

This place is a hidden gem. We had a bit of a hard time finding it but when we did it was amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is just a little 6 table dining room.

Authentic slices you have to fold to eat, A “hole in the wall” in the best sense-just like you’d expect from a New York slice. Stromboli, calzone, all the usual-at least half a dozen variety of pizzas, ready to slap on a paper plate. Ask for your meal extra hot if you’re taking it to go.

These folks are my favorite neighborhood pizza joint hands down. I can relive 23 years of living in Minneapolis, feel joyously nostalgic and leave with the best thin crust pizza the city has to offer inside my massively appreciative belly.

Pretty solid pizza thing going on here! If you like cheese they really pile it on! The flavor was outstanding the crust was juuuust right. It wasn’t too busy on a Friday for lunch and I’d highly recommend the pizza by the slice – if for no other reason – that’s the only way to have New York style pizza in my opinion. Staff was quiet but friendly. Prices were fair as well.

Seriously if you want New York pizza here in Minneapolis, THIS is the place!! The interior was covered in New York memorabilia, and it just gave you an instant NY vibe. The pizza was spot on! It was thin, foldable, and had you curing all your cravings for this kind of pizza. It’s simple, it’s cheap, and it’s so worth it. Also the garlic bread was the best I’ve ever had!
