The food had some highs and lows. First the street corn appetizer is delicious but the corn was slightly over cooked which made the kernels really sticky. The kids nachos lacked flavor and weren’t great. The ribs were tasty and the fried okra was honestly the best thing we ate. It tasted fresh and was perfectly seasoned!

Took my son on a “Mother and Son”, date. He wanted bbq and this place did not disappoint! Our waiter was nice and the food was fresh and delicious. My fav was the brisket, tender with just the right amount of fat! I will definitely be back.

Got the birria tacos (beef) to go. The birria was soft so it could have been cooked longer maybe but the meat was pretty ok and the dipping sauce was great! Oh yea and the limes were so dry

I don’t eat meat but they had a lot of options! I had the vegan Cuban and it was delicious! My daughter who also doesn’t eat much meat had the vegan sloppy joe, she didn’t love it; ate almost half of it and decided it was a no go. She had the Mac and cheese but thought that was just okay too. Other foods ordered were the Brunswick stew and the pulled pork sandwich, both enjoyed! We were a party of eight and though we would have rather eaten inside, the indoor dining room is small, mostly a bar. So it was hot. There were sunshades and some fans but in a 100 degree weather it was hard to be super comfortable. Sweat was to be had! Our server was super nice. We waited on the check a bit, but we were all talking anyway.

We love Ford’s and come here regularly. Their brisket is so delicious and I wish they sold the red chile sauce by the bottle. My go to is street tacos, but everything is delicious! The staff are always so kind and the atmosphere is friendly. I definitely recommend coming here!

Nice vibe. Excellent ribs. Some of the better BBQ I’ve had recently. The fatty brisket is Delish!

Listen Linda Listen…I enjoyed brisket tacos on another level. The ribs are okay…but the brisket is gold in your mouth. They give sooo much food for your buck. I love the music and atmosphere the location in a neighborhood and park. An excellent idea for a lunch, date, or just alone. I love this place. Best Bar be cue environment I’m the city. Small and cozy but top quality. I believe…I’m in ..the brisket…was better than Texas…I took a deep breath to say that previous sentence.

Overall, pretty good. The pulled pork was somehow a bit dry. I like crispy wings but these were somewhat overdone, even for me. Personally, I still prefer Community or Fox Bros. – mainly because of their superior sides. I enjoy Oakhurst neighborhood around Ford’s but it is a bit small around the bar area inside.

We are more accustomed to the Tucker location which we love but was undergoing renovations so we rolled into picturesque Oakhurst. Sat outside as the dining room was packed. Was a bit muggy and a preponderance of flies made the experience a bit annoying. The fans were not angled to hit all the tables and keep the flies off. However, great service and even with some differences in presentation (more fries on the poutine, less meat & chili Mac is a dollop of chili on the regular Mac and cheese) still good food.
