Tried this for the first time at the church pot luck lunch then it has become my favorite fried chicken in Texas! We love to have our lunch at the Bush’s Chicken and try their different menus; besides fried chicken they also have baked chicken & chicken gizzards (first time to have fried chicken gizzards and love it!) And their fried okra is so good! The store manager is friendly & helpful

This is what a little over $12 gets you. A drink, roll, gravy, side, extra side and two of the sorriest chicken tenders I have ever seen. Go to Church’s instead. Or Dairy Queen. Heck, go across the street to Bill Miller’s. Sides and roll tasted fine.

Ordered 3 meals as take out at the counter. Told the employee 2 unsweet and 1 sweet tea. She only gave us 2 drinks in a drink carrier in a bag, neither marked as sweet or unsweet tea. I noticed the missing drink in time to go back in and get the 3rd one. Had ordered two 4 strip meals and a 3 piece meal. Asked specifically for white meat but she entered it as 2 wings and a thigh (all dark meat).

I love the chicken so much I purchased chicken twice in one week. They make amazing chicken! It’s always hot, and I love gizzards and livers also. I usually buy the meal with 3 pieces of chicken which includes the ice tea. I call ahead for them. They are always so gracious! Also their sweet tea is phenomenal!

My family and I wanted to try a new fried chicken place and it did not disappoint! We showed up at 6:30 on a Wednesday and everything was hot and fresh! We had the tender family meal with fries, gravy and mashed potatoes and we loved it! The chicken is crunchy but not too crunchy that it tears up the roof of your mouth . The yeast rolls were fluffy and delicious! Customer service was good! Try it!

Absolutely the best chicken gizzard, corn nuggets and fried okra I’ve had in Texas so far. Portion was humongous. Don’t order large if it’s just for you! Everything was cooked to perfection, service was on point and sweet tea is very good also.

We did a takeout. We didn’t know what was going on when we first drove through. First time trying it out on a Sunday night. No drive through lanes, just followed people and figured it out. The servers came out with their order sheet. There is a huge menu on the wall outside but no prices on them. Chicken was alright, and the fries were alright too. Service was quick and good. It was a smooth drive through. I’d order again if I wanted something quick and everywhere else is busy. I think it’s a little pricey and the prices could go down a little.
