Just got done eating here. The food is delicious. I had the popcorn shrimp basket and side salad. My hubby had the hamburger steak plate with a baked potato and corn. The food was cooked to perfection. The staff is wonderful. Especially Marie and her husband. I’ll definitely be going back!!!

Great little diner with well made fresh diner options. I’ve only ordered breakfast here but the food was good quality, fresh, and made well. Service was EXCELLENT. I’m looking forward to trying other things and updating accordingly.

I had takeout. The Roast Beef and Turkey Plates are so wonderful. Both meats was very tender and juicy. The gravy for both was so smooth and very tasty! My son and I both loved the cabbage, squash and collard greens. I highly recommend giving this place a try!!

Place was extremely clean owner came out and spoke with us he was funny intelligent an entertaining. The food was cooked well and was absolutely delicious! I had the hamburger steak homemade coleslaw Mac and cheese with a baked potato. She had the shrimp with seasoned fries and homemade coleslaw and she loved it. P.S. she’s picky . We will definitely return. A wonderful experience and a nice meal in bassett finally!

Hillbilly’s diner just ate there and the food was awesome. You must try their chicken tender meal it is awesome and you will not leave disappointed Jay and his wife have finally opened a great restaurant in Bassett Stanley town area. You must eat there you won’t be disappointed.
