Martin, at the Homewood location was incredibly friendly and helpful! This was only my second time and I was interested in experimenting with some new flavors building my own bowl. All Cava’s packaging is environmentally friendly, the food is fresh and they also have a delicious assortment of low sugar lemonades. One of my new favorite places for fresh healthy food options!

I am a Cava fan, but today was not a good experience. This is my first visit at this location in Homewood. I ordered the Harissa Avacado bowl, an order of falafel, and a side of pita chips. The Harissa Bowl was very watery. This entree is usually very flavorful, but today the flavors did not blend and there was a lot of water at the bottom of my bowl. I’m not sure if it was from the lettuce or the dressing but it wasn’t normal. Also, the chicken on the bowl was old. I visited around 4pm. The falafel was hard and tasted as if it had been sitting out too. I visited the restroom and it was not clean. I visited both restrooms because the first restroom was untidy and unflushed. The second restroom did not have soap. Today was not an usual Cava experience. I definitely won’t return to this location. Matter of fact, this was the second location I tried today. My usual location did not have avocado! I think I will just give Cava a break all together.

Okay so first I had to tell the man making my bowl how to make it and what was what…then he puts this vinaigrette on there that I didn’t ask for. I asked for pita chips they were extremely cold and I said these are cold and the manger tells me no they aren’t I just got them out of the oil (clearly cold). My friend also got this uncooked pita in her chip bag!!!

Went for Father’s day a couple of months ago and forgot to leave a review. We were going to have a larger crew so we called ahead the day before. When we arrived, the (either manager or general manager I can’t remember because I waited months to write this) whose name was Dot (i think) greeted us and was very accommodating and helpful. The food was wonderful and the restaurant was clean.

The food was wonderful. The service was not good. There were 2 workers behind the counter and 4 were in the dining area eating food from the serving line. They had the actual containers from the service line out in the dining area and were fixing their bowls from the table. At one point only one worker was behind the counter while the others were eating. They and their friends took up 3 tables. As I said, the food was good, but the workers were not what a business owner would want to represent their company.

Homewood location near work, so co-worker and I eat there a few times a month. The timing of take out orders and availability of items can vary, but the staff is always friendly and ready to make things right if an issue arises. The food is fresh and delicious. Wonderful healthy option! Lots of choices, too, so can change things up to eat there on rotation. Good kid meal option, too.
