Excellent food here and it is authentic Italian. Love the pizza, pasta and desert. The fish soup with tuna is incredible. Many wonderful specials. Great chef. They also bake great bread you can buy by the loaf. Highly recommended. This is Roman pizza. One of the servers isn’t fluent enough with English however to understand what we say.the best pasta and pizza are the ones with red sauce!

We’ve spent a lot of time in Italy. We’ve had Pesto in Genoa, Tagliatelle Bolognese in Bologna, Suppli in Rome, and Pizza Margherita in Naples. The last thing we could ever imagine was to find an authentic Italian Trattoria 4 minutes from our home … IN DORCHESTER !!!!

Came here for brunch on a Sunday and will give them another try for dinner. Brunch was good and I will try other items. The pastries are to die for! I love pastries and have been wishing for a place that sells good pastries. This is exactly what is needed in the neighborhood. They’re still new so I’m hopeful they will improve their workflow and operations to make it smoother.

Great food and great ambiance. This is one neighborhood eatery that is worth visiting. Opened recently, their brunch menu was really filling and delicious. Can’t wait to try their dinner menu. Baked goodies were very enticing and took home some to try.

Exquisite and authentic Italian food in Dorchester! Every dish is as good as what you can expect from trattorias in Rome – no surprise as Chef Stefano is from Rome!

Delicious meal and fabulous atmosphere. This restaurant has the best authentic Italian food in Boston (better than the North End).

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my graduation party at Via Cannuccia, and it was an absolute delight. Chef Stefano and his team went above and beyond to accommodate my Mexican/Italian family’s discerning tastes. From our initial meeting to discuss the special menu, to the moment we sat down for the meal, everything was flawless. The charcuterie, house salad, carbonara pasta, pistachio and diavola pizza, short ribs, and homemade tart were all culinary masterpieces that left each of my 14 guests raving about it being the best meal they’ve ever had. I highly recommend Via Cannuccia, a true culinary masterpiece!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Dorchester’s hottest new restaurant the other week. Started our meal with the Suppli Cacio e Pepe accompanied by their homemade sourdough, followed by the Signora Eggplant Parm and the Margherita Pizza. Ended the night with the Crostata-Nutella & Poached Pear ice cream. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great experience and meal.
