Actually, I’m originally from Kenya and I like West African food; I stumbled on this place by accident, the word Buffet meant something to me, I decided to check it out, little did I know that it’s an African cuisine; Gad and her mom were very nice to me, I picked all types of food on the Buffet to carry home into my fridge. The food is GREAT, Togo and Ghanaian food Gad said, the service is GREAT, very friendly people; at the end of eating a little taste of it, I forgot my important documents in there; that means the food was just too good until I lost my memory for a bit. Gad is real great in interacting with customers, like daughter like mom. I’ll go back to pick upbmy documents and eat some more. I give it 5 star in all categories, you should check it out asap. 1st time having African food. I’m lost in words how amazing this food is! It’s weighed by the pound and the price is the bang for the buck!!! If you’re ever in town it’s a must GO!!!

The store has many items for most African communities and the restaurant which is 2/3 stores before the market has tasteful African food. Their buffet is to die for and the food on the menu to order too. Don’t hesitate, I have never been disappointed in almost 15 years going there.

Taste wise, the food tastes great however the cooks never cook enough meat or rather they don’t refill the pans of meat as the day goes by like a typical American buffet does so that way if customers come in 3 hrs or more after the store is opened they’re not stuck debating wether or not to buy the worst part of the fish or goat (like the fish head which has very little meat on it) or tripe, As an American that enjoys some African cuisine most Americans like a decent amount of Meat & sauce to go with whatever starch we choose, then to make matter worse the main cook argues with you if you dare add more than one piece of meat wether its fish, chicken &/or goat meat who wants to eat nothing but rice or fufu without any meat??

Disappointing, I didn’t get a chance to taste the food because I personally didn’t care for how the food was all uncovered. Since this pandemic, food should be covered or protected by glass or something to avoid as much air exposure as possible. This place was too dingy looking to be serving food for my personal preference.

Ive been coming to this restaurant for years, and after todays visit I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. When I came in, the women who rang me up was coming in a well & told me to wash my hands, I DID SO, but realized SHE DID NOT WAS HER HANDS AND STARTED MIXING THE FOOD. Then she proceeded to speak in her language to another women about me. secondly in the past they never weighed the fufu, fufu is heavy and in the past had a set price. And not weighed with the other food. This woman working there weighed it then proceeded to tell me not to take just a portion of the fish soup but the whole head, I told her I did not want whole fish head, I was only going to eat a small piece and the sauce, after going back and forth I told her I would buy the whole head. In the end I spent $25 for a single meal, in the past I never spent above $10 for the same thing. IM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW WHO GOES THERE not to return.

The food is good but very expensive for the small portions . the biggest problem with this place is the cleanliness, The bathroom is nasty, dirty and unsanitary. The sink and toilet looks like it’s 300 years old . I was scared to use it . I felt so dirty by walking in the bathroom I had to go home and shower . As a African myself, this is awful .
