Horrible! Beef was like horrible roast beef not bbq at all! Should have left when I did not smell any smoke out side. Must cook there beef in crook pot what a crook! Potato salad was good. I don’t know what they are calling corn bread. It was stale flat bread at best. Really just horrible sorry I stopped here!!! I happen to be from KC area and love Memphis bbq but Nashville without smoke and slow cooking you just have boiled beef! Did not even give us bbq sauce! Where our the chives man??? They have a sign on highway 40 was looking for a place to stop and get out of car but dining room close at 3 pm! Good chain restaurant near. IAM sure this place will be out business soon and for good reason. Love yeshua

Fantastic food and excellent service. BBQ is delicious but I’d highly recommend trying the loaded potato, it is amazing. You can make meal out of the potato by itself. Lemonade and desert were really good as well. I’d definitely recommend stopping in to grab a bite.

Their BBQ is very good. I got the Hot vinegar based sauce. I always get my BBQ hot but this was one of the hotter sauces I’ve had before. It was great but if you’re on the fence between mild and hot you might play it safe and get the mild.

This is my experience from whitt’s barbecue.. I was across the street at the auto dealership purchasing a car when I was recommended to go eat across the street said they had amazing barbecue.. So we pull up to the drive-through window we are met by a very nice little blonde lady who happily took our order.. As she did so I noticed A young man behind her very attentive to the conversation we were having almost stalking the cashier.. When I received my sandwich loaded with so much hot sauce that it burnt my mouth and burnt the side of my face where I had gotten sauce on me. And burned for at least.15-20 minutes.. I got hit with ghost pepper…. Let me tell you this is seriously painful….. I figure he was just a jealous boyfriend or secretly in love with the cashier..If you go to this place don’t spend too much time talking to the cute girl or the guy in the back will Definitely mess up your food…and try to hurt you.

Small portions and high prices. The pulled pork is just average. The mac and cheese tastes like it was from a box, and the baked beans were just plain awful. This place used to be good. Very disappointing.

Let me start by saying, this Whitts does not even come close to being as good as the Murfreesboro location! I ordered three pork BBQ loaded potatoes at 799 each. There was maybe a spoonful of pulled pork in the potato a couple shreds of cheese and they gave us not one barbecue sauce! They weren’t very friendly, oh and we wanted Brunswick stew and of course they did not have it at that location the only had turkey soup that they were out of of course. So there is no comparison in my book cuz Murfreesboro wits is the best for your money. The potatoes are always huge and plenty full of meat and sides and most importantly hello barbecue sauce! So as far as ever going back to the Lebanon location a big no. When somebody is paying $8 for a tater oh, you might want to put a little bit of meat in it form next time remember that.

Lately this place has gone downhill. We each got a pork bbq sandwhich and they both had hardly any meat on them at all. Prices sure havn’t gone down but the meat has. I have noticed this the last 3 times we have gone there. It’s mostly bun with very little meat. I was hoping it was a fluke but seems like ripping off the customer is their new policy. Such a shame. Also the sides are not very good at all the mac and cheese is really bad tastes like the stuff you get in a can ( I am assuming it does indeed come in a can.) The green beans are fair but way over peppered. The cole slaw is very dry so much so we didnt even eat it.

The owner of Whitt’s BBQ in Lebanon, TN provided the wedding dinner in Brush Creek, TN and did an absolutely excellent job! The food was delicious and hot and loved by all. We had food for 120 people: BBQ pork, buns, amazing bbq sauces, coleslaw, potato salad, mac n cheese and green beans. Everything was outstandingly delicious, fresh and top quality. The owner was so kind and did all this for us on a Sunday -which is when they are normally closed. We highly recommend them. Thank you Whitt’s BBQ of Lebanon- we’ll be back!
