Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 621 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.9 stars. Price $

Ordered a burger, while I was waiting they gave the lady who ordered before me her order. She walked out and brought it back in and said it was the wrong order. They gave her the correct order and she went on her way. A few minutes later the same gentlemen gave me my order, I went outside opened it up and it had a bite taken out of it. THEY GAVE ME THE BURGER THE LADY TOOK A BITE OUT OF AND BROUGHT BACK IN. The waiter intentionally set it aside and tried to pass it off as a new order.

First time having Whataburger and I I got the Bacon Avocado Burger! It was super delicious. I tried the spicy ketchup and it was great.

Usually pretty slow getting orders out. The food is just ok. It’s located in a gas station

We don’t have this option in St Louis so when my wife and I traveled to Dallas for a wedding, we had this place in mind. Our flight was delayed and we arrived late afternoon. We had just picked up the rental car and left the lot thinking maybe we would see a Whataburger in the way when this place appeared. What timing and of course, the food was good–exactly the way we remembered from the last time we had eaten at the chain in San Antonio, 4 years ago.

Went here because it was the closest place nearby. I’ve been to Whataburger before and thought it was pretty good. However, when I went to this location I was the only car in the Drive-Thru and it still took them about 8 minutes to get me just fries. The fries were hot, but I’d prefer almost any other taste wise; flavorless.

Food was burnt as hell, like most people here, were crunched for time, it’s also a lot more expensive than other places. Not worth it at all couldn’t even eat the food, waste of $13 dollars on a meals that’s $8.65 at other locations

I would give 0 stars if possible this location is absolute garbage I was the only one in line and they took over 20 mins to make the food and it was not good and they charge over $15 for the meal instead of the normal price on top of that they don’t do rewards.

Please do something about the coffee… it’s terrible. I love coffee but this coffee is hard to drink. This is not a highly busy place… why the hurry to take an order? We’re hafway ordering and she keeps interrupting with “Is that all?” There’s no smile, no good morning… nothing at all. In the other hand, the food is hot and fresh. Y’all can do better tho.
