Outstanding experience at KAWA, delicious bento boxes with tender steak and flavorful teriyaki chicken. Miso soup was a highlight. Excellent service, serene ambiance. A must-visit for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts! I’ll definitely be back!! 10/10

Great experience and loved finding this little gem. Highly recommend this place for fresh sashimi. I had to order another roll since the quantity of sashimi was smaller than I expected. But I am not counting that against them..

Simply… Great taste, good atmosphere, and friendly service. My wife and I have enjoyed several dinners at Kawa and will definitely return for the ramen, rolls and more. A bonus being BYOB.

I love getting take out sushi here when I visit my friend in Broomall. One of my favorite sushi places because it is always fresh, has delicious creative options with a great balance of combined flavors, and has a good fish to rice ratio.

I’ve been dining regularly at Kawa since it opened. The food was always good, it was a good value and the service was good. Just a nice place to get a nice meal. Last three times all of the regular servers were gone. The new servers are now s as ll male and we happened to get the same guy three times. He was a terrible server. He would turn and walk away from you before you finished speaking. When he brought food to another table he would not take a moment to look if you needed him – straight back to the kitchen. Last time there he walked away as I was speaking witt try h him and I had enough – called him back to the table and told him how rude he is, etc. he got no tip and it will me a LONG time before I go back. It’s a shame.

Waiter and waitresses went out of their way to make sure our dinner was more than pleasurable. What we ordered from appetizers, to entrees, to desserts were delicious. Highly recommend… they are the best! Even forgot our bag and they ran out to parking lot to give to us. Honest people. Will definitely go back and back and back for more.

Stopped by for take-out and ordered hibachi chicken and vegetables with fried rice, which came with a small miso soup. The food was tasty but just a little salty. The menu offers an impressive range and I would try them again, perhaps for a sit-down meal. The dining room is warm and attractively designed.

Kawa is one of my favorite restaurants in the area whether it’s for dine in or takeout. Always phenomenal. I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and nothing disappoints. The sushi is fresh and tasty; The ramen is delicious; and the bento box gives a great offering of a variety of menu items that all satisfy. Don’t forget when dining in it is a BYOB.

I’ve been coming here for years but won’t be back anymore. The service has gone down the past few months, and same with the quality of food. Every now and then our food would be a bit weird or our rolls would completely fall apart, but unfortunately the last meal I had there got me very sick. Needless to say, I’m turned off completely now which is unfortunate because they were the best sushi in Delco /:
