See those 5 stars? That’s not for decor or high end dining. But if you are looking for good food and friendly hard working servers and cooks who help make a satisfying experience, head for the Hill-vue. The menu offers homemade soups, house baked bread and all the breakfast and lunch items that make for a good family restaurant. We have had this place in rotation for years. Today Mark had mixed eggs with mushrooms, cheddar and sausage. I enjoyed a Not so hungry” plate with 1 egg, 1 pancake, 2 slices of bacon and a 1/2 order of home fries. Everything was well prepared. We brought enough food for a lunch for both of us. Don’t get rattled by the flamingo curtains and fish related items on the walls..just chuckle while you chow down on some really tasty food.

I call this place a gresey spoon with all love and affection. It’s home cooking and friendly staff. I really enjoyed our breakfast. They go above and beyond. They are open early for us fisherpreople. We get take-out for a quick lunch on the boat.

We came to the Niagara Falls and this cafe was recommended by a local. First of all, the service was amazing, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food was great!!! We were 8 and everyone of us was satisfied with the food. The avocado toast was awesome!! Great food and I was surprised how inexpensive it was. Highly recommend.
