This is not just a coffee shop… they have wonderful breakfast, salads, burgers, and entrees. Highly recommend this great new restaurant!! Like everyplace staff is hard to come by so have some patience people… relax and enjoy 🙂

This place is AMAZING. We came with a bridal party and dropped in just before closing without realizing- they served us all, and even gave us free mimosas. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the location is adorable. Prices are also incredibly reasonable, especially for how much food you get and how delicious it is. Highly recommend if you are in Pepin! Will for sure be back!!

We have eaten here before, years ago, and it was great. Today, not so much. It was not busy but our order apparently got lost in the printer. After 45 minutes for a salad and cold sandwich, we asked the server. When the food finally arrived, the salad was wrong and needed to be remade. I was not at all happy, but the food was good, once it got there. Then we come to find that another more expensive order was charged to our credit card by mistake, and they had cash for us to make up the difference… What a mess. We did get a 25% discount for the trouble, but we won’t be back. It was not a positive experience.

We really had high hopes for this place based on reviews and talking with others in town. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When we got there, we found a table and waited. After 10 minutes, I walked to the counter to find out if we needed to order up there and was told no, a waitress would come, and was told they were understaffed today. We were not in a hurry, so it wasn’t a huge issue. Within a few minutes, we put in our breakfast and drink order. Another 10 minutes passed and I had to go ask for our drinks. I was meet with annoyance, likely because the 2 main waitresses just got done snapping at each other about who’s table and tip was paid, very unprofessional. We witnessed the 2 waitresses get angry at each other several times, in turn, both were very cold and made the visit unwelcoming. At about the hour mark, after our waitress walked past us several times with no acknowledgement, we asked about our food and we’re told, it would be soon, it was still another 10 minutes. On top of this, groups that came in 45 minutes after us got food 5 minutes after us, it made no sense at all!!!! And the table served right before us, which was the excuse on why our food took so long, was served 25 minutes before us. What kind of kitchen has 25 minutes between food coming out of the kitchen!!! We almost walked out, it was bad. The food was very good, but absolutely not worth the experience this morning and we will not be back. The prior morning we went to Homemade Cafe right down the road, night and day experiences! From the second we walked into Homemade Cafe, we were welcomed with smiles and felt welcome and wanted. From the second we walked into Pepin Bistro, it was cold and you could feel the tension, looking back now, we should have left, which we watched many people do after being ignored for long periods of times. I hate doing negative reviews, but this cafe crew need some attitude adjustments, or get out of the restaurant business.
