An intimate & familiar setting with experienced staff capable of making solid recommendations as things are more complex than they may seem. You can’t go wrong, I had to try most of the options because their attention to detail enticed a deeper dive down the menu. Good people providing massive flavors in small doses. Eat here, the cost is very reasonable. Mill, don’t grind.

My wife, daughter & I had a nice experience at BONDI, a cozy and authentic Japanese restaurant in the heart of Manhattan, NoMad. We were impressed by the friendly, helpful & accommodating staff, actually it was one person, who helped me get into the restaurant easily by using a different entrance for my wheelchair, who made sure we had a comfortable table for our wheelchair. He took care of us & just about everyone else. Cant recall the gentleman’s name, Donny? He was the manager, at the time, waiter, & bartender. He was patient, attentive, always smiling, and gave us some great recommendations for our order.

So delicious! Went here for dinner two days in a row. Loved the lobster hand roll. The margarita was great too. There is a deal where you can get 5 hand rolls for about $40. If you are gluten free, you can purchase tamari as a side sauce. The vegan/vegetarian rolls are extremely flavourful.

Loved the nigiri and hand roll but understand it is a real sushi spot. There are no forks and the portions and menu are small it’s pretty much omasake style . I had a good time over all though

It’s a restaurant with just huge sushi bar so the sushi comes out super fresh and fast. The lunch special is great and filling. I added a couple different handrolls to try out. My favorite food there were O Toro sushi, Wagyu handroll, and Unagi/Avocado handroll.

Went here for lunch, fast and attentive service and the food is delicious but very small portions I would consider them bites, you will be hungry again within 25 min and spent all your money here so you’re gonna have to resort to a dollar slice to fill up.

Sushi is the best we have tried in nyc. Our sushi chef Wei was a true expert. Wei really cares about his craft. Johnny was also a great server who recommended the best dishes and gave us off the menu margaritas that were insane! Great
