It was a nice surprise to see a German centric bar/restaurant during my trip to North Hampton, MA. The restaurant attempts to capture the feel of a German Fest Haus with a dark wood interior and antler donning light fixtures. I tried and liked a boot-full of the Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan, Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier, which is very long for a German wheat beer. It was very good.

First time here, sat at the bar. Warmly greeted by our bartender. Ordered our beers, and ordered the Pub fries. A basket of fries with beer cheese, bacon bits, and sour cream. Came out hot and crispy.

Great space, very nice ambiance. Talked with the manager, very nice and sharp. Very limited bar menu but it is perfect for this venue. Will definitely be back. As a 40 year patron of the Fort this does venue does it justice.

The atmosphere was nice, but they really have mediocre food. The bars in Northampton are mostly overrated, but this place needs more improvement. However they have good selection of beer, so it may be eorth a visit.

This place has an amazing German beer selection and some delicious pretzels, cheese and sausages. Very chill atmosphere and a nice place to enjoy a Maß or two and an ice cold Kölsh.
