On our vacation we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. It’s an authentic building that does not lack charm! Wait staff did an amazing job welcoming and serving their guests. Food was delicious and service was quick. It’s a great place to stop if you are traveling by as we did, or to frequent as the #1 restaurant in the area!

Went here for our anniversary and couldn’t be more pleased. The waitress was nice and kept our drinks full. The food was amazing. Had the sidesaddle angels appetizer. For entrees we got the seafood augratin and redfish lafourche. Came out fairly quick and was full of flavor and fresh ingredients. We will def be back.

Man, I absolutely loved my visit here. Everyone was super friendly. There are smiles all around you just know that you’re in a good place. The food was absolutely phenomenal! As the night progressed, the feeling of comfort eased in. Once the amazing dinner was finished, they brought out some wonderful dessert options. They were crazy good! Everyone was beaming ear to ear. My highest of recommendations lie here.

We had a large group of about 25 people. We contacted owner days in advance of our visit. We contacted owner morning of our visit. Then when we were about an hour out. When we got to the restaurant we were told they could not accommodate our group. When we shared our experience with the owner, the response was just they don’t take reservations and he was sorry. At no point prior to our arrival were wet told that all staying was first come, fist served or that they could handle a group our size. So we wasted a trip out to that restaurant to then have to scramble and find another place that could accommodate us.

I will first say that I did love the atmosphere. My family went on a Friday night at about 5:45p and there was a thirty minute wait…not bad. The staff, when you first walk in, was friendly enough. I ordered the Redfish Lafourche and it came with potato of choice and honey glazed carrots…the dish gets 5 stars. My husband ordered the Seafood Au Gratin which was excellent. My complaint is regarding the kids shrimp. My 8 year old ordered this and he received 3 shrimp, fries, and a bread roll. This dish is 7 dollars. I feel this is way overpriced. He had to share with my 5 year old who received 2 corn dogs and surely couldn’t finish his dish on his own. I asked the waitress about this thinking it must be a mistake and she gave me the impression that this wasn’t the first complaint on this kid’s dish. The other kids dishes that we ordered were properly portioned for the price: 2 corn dogs and the kid’s chicken tenders. I am giving 3 stars because of the Kid’s dish…I can’t wrap my head around the portion for that price. We also ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which was fantastic.
