Stopped here while traveling to Kansas. It was great! Nice size helpings, my cheeseburger tasted great, my husband got a tenderloin, he liked, Daughter got a double cheeseburger and son got a spicy chicken. We split a fry and a tot. It was 40 for all.

There are not many restaurants along this stretch of I-70. This place is a gem. Good food and friendly staff. I was there on a hot day and a construction worker stopped in for some food. After he ordered and was waiting for his to-go order, the owner came over and offered him a free ice cream cone while he waited. What a nice gesture!

We’re traveling and stopped for gas and then an early lunch at Hardi’s. They were setting up the salad bar when we arrived. My husband had the chicken strips, and really liked them. I had a cheeseburger, which was also really good. The fries and tots were crispy, not soggy. They even offered sweet potato fries. Had to have the cherry limeade too. Very friendly staff, with clean bathroom and dining area. I’d stop by again for sure!

Headed back home from Estes to KC and decided to try Handi’s with the family (including 3 hungry teens) based on the good reviews. We weren’t disappointed! All five of us agreed this may be the best place we stopped all trip, plus we’re always happy to support local. Service was amazing and food was great. If you need a place to stop along I-70, this is the one!

My husband and I got chips and salsa as an appetizer, and the chips were warm! Salsa was also very tasty. The burgers were amazing: good taste and not greasy. The fries were also good. Places between the Kansas/Colorado border are hard to find, and this place lives up to all the excellent reviews!

Wow! Handi’s is a gem on the highway where food is hard to find. We had hamburgers last night in Estes Park for twice the price but these at Handi’s were just as good! Good quality meat, fresh brioche buns, fresh lettuce, great thick malts, all delivered quickly and with small town friendliness. Full restaurant at 6 pm on a Wednesday. You can tell this is a local favorite. I will be back if I ever pass this way again!
