This was kind of expensive for the amount of food you got. Don’t expect to take home any leftovers. I got a salad with the steak and the sesame ginger vinaigrette with some good toppings. I wish they would mix it all together with the sauce but I LOVED the dressing. The steak was marinated well too! We also got the guacamole made with edamame and avocado and we really enjoyed eating that. Their Fresca drinks were tasty as well and we tried them all. I’d def go back for a quick lunch but I really want to buy that vinaigrette in bulk 🙂

Zao’s has really good rice bowls. The brown rice is good with the chicken and teriyaki sauce. The veggies are always fresh. Delicious meal!!

Amazing food. Fresh ingredients and wholesome flavors. Recently switched my diet to a gluten/dairy free change and could steal eat the bowls here with no changes. Relaxing quiet atmosphere. Definitely would go again.

I placed an online order so that I could pick up my lunch and run back to work. However when I arrived, my food was not only not ready for me, but I had ordered double meat and what I received looked like a regular serving. Also it was a bit frustrating that they ran out of lids and I had ordered a drink so I had to fill my drink only halfway and hope that I didn’t spill on the way back to work. I understand this isn’t the fault of the workers, but it would be nice for to-go orders if they offered us the option to get a closed drink instead or refund us. Otherwise the food was really good.

I love meeting people here. It has a great atmosphere. They have quick service. It is a great healthy option for a quick bite or long visit. The staff is super friendly. I love the bowls the best with the cucumber base and the lemongrass dressing.

Used Zao Catering for an HOA meeting. They provided everything needed. The food was incredible and delivered on time. The set up was outstanding and beautifully done. This was so stress-free. Everyone loved the food.

I visited the New Zao Location in Layton. They’ve done a really good job on the inside! It has a nice look and feel inside the restaurant. It’s very clean and appeasing! I couldn’t decide what to order. I ended up getting the Rice Bowl. It included Rice, Broccoli, corn, carrots, teriyaki sauce! Mmmm! It was really good and came in a big bowl. The portions were great! The Rice Bowl was good! I think next time I will try the Tacos or Soup!
