Great service and great pizza. I worked at breadeaux in high school about 20 years ago and I’m happy to report the pizza is still as good as it ever was. If you are in the Altoona or Bondurant area give them a try and show them some love.

I happen to love the little area that this pizzaria is located in. Looks more like something out of the old west. Staff is very friendly and attentive. And the pizza is amazing. I don’t go to Altoona often, but I usually stop here when I do.

I have order quite a few pizzas from here. This has to be some of the best pizza in the Des Moines Iowa area. There are a few others that are great too. I had the BLT pizza this last week that I ordered when I was at work. It tasted just like a BLT. Deep dish Taco is great. I was disappointed to find out that the Pleasant hill location does not carry all the combinations that the Altoona location has as I tried to order the BLT tonight and they had no idea what I was talking about. Pizza was fire but the breadsticks are super lame. Might as well as not even have them on the menu. Makes me question whether to come back or not. How can a place make such good pizza but horrible breadsticks? Pros and cons to breadeaux pizza.

We’ve ordered Breadeaux a few times every month since we moved to Altoona two years ago. The delivery is always within the hour and the pizza and cheese breadsticks are hot and delicious. Always hits the spot and with picky eaters that’s a must! It’s nice to have something so close that we can count on every time-thank you!

It is hard to believe the ratings for the pizza here. Our small pizza was terrible. It tasted like it was frozen and stale. The meat on the salad was brown. Lettuce was shredded.
