Really enjoyed having lunch at Country Boy Cooking. The barbeque ribs and chicken was delicious and had just the right amount of smoke. Lemonade is sweet and refreshing. I should have gotten an extra slice of sweet potato pie. The corn pudding is also tasty. Get there early if you can.

Drove 30 mins to get a plate, Made it there an hour and a half before closing, Stood in line for 30 more mins, only to be told their out of CHICKEN AND RIBS and there was only a selection of BBQ or seafood and NOTHING ELSE fried After watching her serve plates of ribs, an ANNOUNCEMENT that their sold out would’ve been considerate‼️ Also, called 5 times on my way, NO ANSWER. Will not return.

Great BBq, mad fresh each week. Try the chicken salad as a side for a next-day lunch option! the BBQ pork is alwayson point, steaks take longer, so call ahead if you are on a time crunch. I can’t recommend one option over another, because they’re all fantastic.

This place is a definite hidden jewel in the Augusta area. A little out of the way place, but hands down, one of the best places to eat for steak. I’m not a meat eater so I had 4 sides but they were delish. All of the dishes were homemade and used fresh ingredients. The macaroni and cheese was plump and juicy. The sweet potato pie should be designated as a dessert its that good. I had a corn casserole that was out of this world. And the broccoli salad hit the tastebuds just right. My companion had a rare 16oz steak that is well worth the wait. We had to wait 15 min for the steak but it was worth it. He also had a baked potato that had 3 different types of cheese. For baked potato experts, that’s what’s called the perfect baked potato.

The food is amazing. The steak (9oz fillet) was seasoned to perfection and cooked to the perfect temperature. I had the broccoli salad and mac and cheese. The chocolate pie made me hum. The lemonade is a must have. After eating here I felt completely satisfied. I enjoyed seeing each diverse group of costumers come in and enjoy the food.
