Just ate lunch here today. This place is a gem. Nothing spectacular decor-wise but the food was excellent. Had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, gravy and banana pudding. If you are in the area and want some good hearty food stop here. Waitresses were very friendly. Quick to get a beverage refill. I would give Paw-Paw’s 6 stars if I could. So happy to find this place.

We stopped in for a quick burger and fries meal. Sadly disappointed as both burgers were overcooked, burnt, and very dried out. Supposed to have mayo, but could only find a trace of it. Fries were blah even with seasoning. Showed the burgers to waitress and manager. Still had to pay over $20 for food not fit to eat. But, the waitress was awesome. We’ll stick to the original place as we’ve never got bad food there ever.

First time visiting Pawpaw’s Place. Loved it! The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The fried chicken and squash were hand breaded. The sirloin steak was comparable to any steakhouse steak. Best of all, the staff was friendly, attentive and appeared to genuinely appreciate the customers. Don’t forget to get a homemade fried pie for dessert. Yummy!

First time visiting Paw-Paw’s place and definitely was not disappointed!! Service excellent from the moment you walk in the door!! There was oy one waitress for at least 10 tables and she handled all the tables like they were the only customer!! Service was quick and the food was excellent!! Catfish was cooked to perfection!! Will definitely be returning often to this gem!!

Ate there and I had always gone to the one north of town so I thought the one on dixe was the same but it is not! More full service restaurant. My doctor has me on a low salt diet and had grilled chicken and vegetables and they were very accommodating to my diet! And very fast and pleasant service
