Sol of Mexico has the most authentic Mexican cuisine in Worcester. It’s a weekly stop for me. Being a vegan, I’m most excited about the newly added plant based options.

Small establishment with absolutely phenomenal food. Very authentic and just delicious! I had pork tamales and I honestly wouldn’t change a thing, they were amazing! Great prices and portions. Very limited dining room, only has 2 tables.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is a place to go in Worcester! Great atmosphere, and food is incredible comparing to other chain Mexican restaurants in town. Always have had great service, and food is very comforting.

The woman was so sweet, also love the decor inside the restaurant. The tamales were fresh. I got a burrito as well… but the FLAN!! That flan was so good. You can tell they care about their business and the food was so great too. Will be back.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered a torta, a sope, and two tacos. The sope was quite good, lots of food and nice flavor. The torta was even better, great flavor throughout. The tacos sealed the deal, excellent in every way. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.8.

Sol of Mexico is the BEST. Small, inexpensive place on pleasant. I love the veggie tacos. So fresh and delicious. The mango salsa is probably one of my favorite condiments of all time. The staff is awesome too. I’ve ordered delivery from them a few times and they always call to confirm certain ingredient instruction.

I stopped in due to reviews telling me its authentic- I come from living in a border city (San Diego) and couldn’t get several of the items I like- and if things were things I knew of, they didn’t do it like Im familiar with, authentic may be talking the atmosphere which is as bad as Tijuana street vendors. I really wanted a carne asada burrito in the worst way- but didn’t risk it. I left. A line but no body helping a takeout line and dining room is tiny with no servers present if they have em. Not sure why people put up with it at all.

I ordered 4 beef tacos, they were without a doubt the worst tacos I have ever had. The beef was dry as a bone no flavor whatsoever, I tossed 3 1/2 of them in the trash. TacoBell is a better option. The Taco Spot on Grafton st blows this place away. I figured I’d give then a shot since I live on the west side. I will not be returning!!!
