While staying at Hunter A. A. We planned on a fast food dinner. Thankfully that place was closed!

SUPERfriendly and courteous. By far, best fried okra I’ve ever tasted. Sweet potato souffle was perfectly seasoned and so, so flavorful. Green beans and Mac n cheese were good, too. But, the absolute standouts were the meats. We had spare ribs and chicken wings and they were JUST.SO.UNBELIEVABLY.DELICIOUS!!!

Such PHENOMENAL food, and atmosphere…the sides distracted us and we didn’t even start on the delicious meats for ten minutes!

Ahhh mannn. Listen, I read the reviews and I was NOT disappointed. The sides were great, that meat though….. The best brisket I’ve had in years by far. The ribs succulent, “fall off the bone” is an understatement. What about when it stay on the bone, but melt in your mouth . I enjoyed both of the sauces, though you can go without them, TRUST it’s that good. Kudos ya’ll, definitely worth a day trip in the near future

Excellent BBQ with friendly staff. We stopped for a late lunch and had a couple of pulled pork sandwiches and fried okra. The pork was tender and flavorful and the okra was easily some of the best I’ve had. They use a seasoning salt that is excellent and adds great flavor to their dishes. Portions were solid and prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount you get. I would love to have tried more but kept it lighter for lunch. My only complaint is that they only have three BBQ sauces available or I would have given this 5 stars. This is excellent BBQ and I recommend a t to anyone in the area.

My stomach is full and my soul is happy. Hailing in from Ohio, we were on the hunt for some good bbq. Bonus points if the hospitality was on point. Listen. Mr. Parker and his staff greeted us as soon as we walked in! We had the two meat two sides and had the ribs and the brisket. The ribs and brisket were good and tender! This black owned business is on point!

First time trying this place. Food was seasoned well but all the meat was extremely dry. I paid $50 for two orders of 2 meats and 2 sides and 2 desserts.

We’ve tried nearly every barbeque spot in Savannah, and this one blows all the rest away. Literally everything we had was phenomenal. The lemonade was perfect, tart and not too sweet. The sides were wonderful, the meat was ridiculous. We could smell the smoke on our fingers when we were driving home, it was so good. They showcase some local saucemakers in addition to providing their own. If they did the same for hot sauces that could be cool. Their menu has so many options that no matter what, you’ll find something to love. Can’t wait to go back and try something new next time. Very clean restaurant, and the staff were so welcoming too. 100 on everything!

So this was the first time I ever stepped foot in Parker’s Smoked Meats. I had different individuals express how good their barbecue was, but I am a chunky chick from the South! There’s only 2 things we take seriously around here: Our Jesus, and our barbecue! It smelled AMAZING inside, but I was totally UNPREPARED for the DELICIOUSNESS that assaulted my taste buds! They sell lamb, turkey wings, turkey legs, brisket, chicken, oxtails and so much more, but my only mission today was pork ribs (they do have beef ribs, but beef ribs are an abomination down South)! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone WONDERFUL! Even the gristle was tender and yummy which I joyously sucked down! I adore freshly cooked fried okra, and I thought no one did it better than Church’s Chicken. Sugar, let me tell you, I have NEVER had more flavorful fried okra in my entire life! Their sweet potato soufflé was perfection with a toasted pecan topping! My 10-year-old Autistic son was with me, and he is a VERY picky eater. He won’t even try new things unless I make him. I gave him a little cup of macaroni from Parker’s. I almost fell out of my chair when he said, “Mommy, it tastes so good”! Before I could even pull out of the parking lot to head back home, I had to get 2 more orders of okra and another soufflé to go! Y’all, his BBW would not steer you wrong.. Do yourselves a favor and check out Parker’s Smoked Meats! I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

I’ll give an A for effort! But I wasn’t really feeling it. The red rice was dry and weirdly lacked the tomato flavor you usually get from red rice. The rice itself was seasoned well. The potato salad was definitively PUBLIX with some red garnish on it lol. I’ve been eating it all my life so I know that was not homemade. The sweet potato soufflé was probably Publix too! I didn’t like it. The okra was alright, seasoned good, not churches okra by far! I have the meat in the past and wasn’t impressed. Just thought I would give it a second try. The service was good and the staff was very friendly.
