I gave it 5 stars because of the food. It is very much homestyle mexican cooking with some foods never found hardly anywhere. Foods are fresh and hot. Keep walking if atmosphere is what you need. It is a small cafe. It has a wall menu, a selection of deli style foods are offered with some daily specials. You can sit-in or take out. They have the traditional menu of tacos, carnitas, beans, rice, salsas, baked chicken, Aguas Frescas. After that it’s more homestyle cooking like Mexican grandma use to make. I tried out the Chicaronnes en Salas for the 1st time. It was delicious I had the Frijoles Charro instead of the refried beans. They were cooked with cilantro, onions, jalapeños to a creamy texture, excellent taste. These are very sweet and sincere people the two times I’ve been there. It’s off the beaten path of mexican restaurant food but worth it.

If you’re craving AUTHENTIC Mexican tacos don’t think twice about this place! They have a variety of different meats to choose from. Food was delicious! The customer service was great, ordered food and waited less than 20 minutes. Great tasting tacos! 10/10

Amazing authentic Mexican cuisine. Super friendly staff and worked as a team when it was a busy Sunday post church afternoon. Portions were perfect. Had some left overs from a large torta, 2 tacos and a burrito my husband and I ordered and were able to make 2 meals out of it.
