Stopped here because I was in the area. I called and when I asked for the jerk catfish she told me to hold on, I was anticipating her coming back to let me know they were out, but instead she came back and said they had it. Whew!! Food was hot, plentiful and good. Rice and peas were lightly seasoned and the gravy on top very seasoned so it was a good mesh. Catfish could have had a little more seasoning, but that’s just a personal preference. Cabbage was very good and Mac was your typical jerk restaurant Mac (not baked, and not fancy, but also not bad). Cashier was fine and I don’t really care about the ambiance. I’ll stop in again when I’m out in Calumet. I didn’t like their jerk sauce; too vinegary

Ordered from here one time about a week ago. I was superbly satisfied and impressed. I ordered my regular dark chicken dinner, and they hooked me up with some extra chicken. The extra chicken breast was delicious and juicy, not over cooked. I was given the standard 2 sides, rice and peas, PLUS bread. Can’t wait to return because they are winning the game.

This use to be the ONLY spot I would go to and send anyone that asked for a good jerk spot. There salad has always been my favorite but its sad to say that Nickys has a much better jerk salad than the actual Jerk restaurant. The price has went up on everything but the quality..service and attention to detail has went down the drain. This is the second time I have ordered a salad with ranch…only to find out that there isn’t any dressing in the bag. My jerk salad consists of a container of lettuce a little chicken and some shredded cheese. Where is the tomatoes…eggs…peppers… onions….something more than that for $17.

First and last time visiting!! Very nasty attitude! She charged me twice for cabbage and when I asked her to correct it she got real nasty and rude. I asked if she was having a hard day and she got real mad. Ended up getting a refund and going to Tropic Island! This lady need Customer Service training or a few days off.

Quality of food not consistent but okay tasting. Quantity of food is good. They give you plenty. Wouldn’t done in though. Not good ambiance. They never open on time. Advertise opens at 11. They sometimes don’t open til 12 or 12:30. Food is always hot. But sometimes you can tell it was probably left over.

I remember when they first opened and it was so good back then! But now they fell off.. the chicken is still okay (purpose for the 2 stars) but everything else was just terrible. The Mac & Cheese is mushy and has no flavor.. the rice & peas w/gravy were flavorless. The cabbage has a funny smell to it. The recipes have definitely changed and not for the better. ALSO: the cashier is terrible. I stood there about a good minute while she sat on FaceTime with somebody complaining because they had her paused. Finally she looked up and said “oh, you ready?” Like.. no, hello? No, how can I help you? & she acts annoyed you’re there. I have to find a new jerk spot because this one I won’t be visiting again.

This is the worst place ever. The food is awful I asked for one thing. I got something totally different. I was on the phone when my son asked him to switch out the corn for yams. And they said okay get back here no yams but corn? Yeah it’s on my ticket. The jerk chicken doesn’t even have a jerk taste. I didn’t want the sauce onxthe chicken but it’s still supposed to taste like jerk chicken never ever again smdh
