Hated to give this restaurant a 3 star. I actually had high expectations for our date night here. We’d been here in the past, maybe 3 years prior. It was quite nice then. We initially had cocktails before dinner, and the bar was pretty decent. We had a very nice waitress (Lida) who was accommodating. We ordered, and once we received our food, the presentation was nice. I ordered stuffed chicken breast and could not wait to taste it. However, that soon turned into disappointment. The outside of the chicken breast was barely warm, and the inside stuffing was cold (refrigerator cold). Of course, I didn’t eat it and elected not to order anything else. Sadly, i probably won’t eat here again.

Stopped into Jimmys for cocktails and food tonight. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and the shrimp large. Presentation was fantastic. Coconut shrimp was good but paled in comparison to the other. Great martini and good wine selection.

Excellent food and service. The steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection as well as the seafood. The view of the river at sunset was a bonus. The table pedestals are very uncomfortable and force you to sit with your legs open and around it. Try asking for a booth so you more comfortably.

Love this place! Steak is phenomenal and always cooked to perfect. Millie is the BEST waitress. So personable and attentive! Also, they have a new “salt boat” that has different flavors of salt and it’s amazing!!

No limitz auto restoration
Made reservations for a table next to window. Although there was a table open, the waitress said it is reserved. No one ever sat at that table while we were there. The food was good. The service was sub par. We had dirty plates on our table. Had to ask for drinks multiple times. I expected fine dining service and it was not the case. For the price I would not go back due to the lack of service we received.

This is our fifth time here, nice atmosphere, light background music that helps drown out near by conversations but low enough to hear your own. The 12 ounce New York steak was perfect. Service was great as usual. I don’t like eating out, but I like coming here.

In town for work so I figured I’d try this place for dinner on the boardwalk. The restaurant is beautiful and Every single person that works there is friendly! I had Tyler and he was super nice and attentive! I started with the blackberry lemon drop and it was so good. The beef skewers were very juicy, tender and well seasoned. I ordered the stuffed shrimp but didn’t want grits so they were nice enough to switch it out with mash potatoes and it was delicious. I ordered an extra side and I was not a fan of the charred brussel sprouts with the harissa aioli at all. The Brussel sprout were not seasoned and it is already a somewhat bitter vegetable so the harrisa aioli did not work for me…I just couldn’t eat it. But Overall it was a great experience!

I wouldn’t say I’m a tourist because Louisiana is my second home but I’ve never spent much time in Shreveport. Decided to explore the city and ended up at Jimmy’s for dinner. I had a great experience from the time the host greeted me until I left. Everyone is so friendly and some of them are very funny. The servers and waiters/waitresses make sure that you have everything you need. The manager is also great. The atmosphere is very nice and I enjoyed the music they had playing. I’ll have to go back to try the steak.
