Great dive atmosphere. I got ribs and brisket. I prefer ribs a little more tender, but they were super smokey and had great flavor overall. Brisket was great. I prefer sliced over chopped but again, that’s just my preference. My son got an enormous burger that looked fantastic. I have to go back to Atlanta tomorrow, but otherwise I would definitely go back.

LOVE Jay Henry’s! Best BBQ around. Quality, quantity, price, friendliness, speed, easy in and out….. they check all the boxes!! Small, family owned placed that really takes pride in customer service and quality food! Don’t judge them on the fries it was a custom request to have things left off/on the side! But, check out those loaded brisket nachos!

I tried jay Henry’s this past Monday. Here I am again the Saturday after and got myself a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and oh my gosh. So tender, and it’s a really great sized sandwich for the price!! Absolutely an amazing BBQ place to definitely try next time you are craving some.

Great food! We got the pulled pork sandwich, a burger, the hot link on a bun, and the papa kirk. All were fresh and juicy; the smoke on the meats was PERFECT! Their beans and fried pickles were really good as well!

Good food, we had the pig in a boat and something similar with chopped brisket and fries. Both were good, the pulled pork was better than the brisket. I wanted ribs, they were sold out. I’ll get them next time. Very nice people, will definitely go back and would recommend.

Absolutely, the WORST BBQ I’ve ever tied to eat!!! Beware, the meat tasted days old an had been frozen not freshly cooked an almost soiled. The sides they sell for almost $4 a pop are barely a tablespoon full! Homemade potato salad an slaw a joke! I’m in my car or I would have uploaded photos. I can go on an on but not enough room. My dog is with me an I wouldn’t even give him a bite! Health dept should inspect this joint!

Best kept secret is southeastern Oklahoma. The BBQ is amazing. The burgers are juicy as they come. Outdoor seating only but it has shade and a restroom. Owned and operated by one of the nicest dude you will ever meet.

I called in my order, I arrived on time. The food took another 20 minutes. I had orders for 6 from my office, but I was the only customer. As I pulled out the girl ran out to tell me I still had 1 more burger left. 20 minutes later, it’s done. By the time I get back to work, everything is cold, and surprise, almost raw hamburgers.

This barbeque is fantastic. I eat here every time I visit McAlester and I can’t wait to go back. Their Widowmaker is to die for! The small restaurant has only outdoor seating, but if the weather permits, it’s wonderful. The menu has something for everyone and the loaded fries are incredible. Staff helped my friend pick something that suited her in a friendly way that showed how confident and familiar they were with their food. Looking forward to my next visit.
