I really enjoyed the food here. The pizza and burger exceeded my expectations. As a snobby New Yorker, I was pleasantly surprised with how great everything was. I highly recommend this place.

I chose this restaurant because of the many gluten free and vegetarian options listed on the website (myself and another family member are gluten free). 10 minutes after we ordered, we were told that they had none of the items we ordered, and no other gluten free items. On the website, they listed GF buns, pasta and pizza (as well as veggie burgers). Absolutely none of these were available. We made adjustments to our order, and waited an additional 40 minutes for our food (total over 50 minutes). Additionally, the one menu modification we requested was not honored. Every drink we ordered took 15-25 minutes to arrive. Food was mediocre at best. No concession on the bill was offered. We will not be returning.

The food at 421 Craft Bar and Kitchen was fantastic. With a fantastic combination of tastes and original twists, the menu is a gourmet joy. Excellent craft beer collection that appeals to all tastes. The environment is chic and contemporary, which creates a lively and pleasurable feeling. It’s a noteworthy restaurant because of the friendly personnel and excellent service.

Fantastic food, friendly service, dog friendly outdoor seating. They don’t accept reservations but we (a party of four) and my dog walked right in for an outdoor table on a Saturday evening a little before 6p.

Great new addition to the Bennington restaurant and bar scene. We went for drinks and found a diverse menu of cocktails, huge draft beer list, and great wines to choose from. Other spirits are available if you desire a custom libation. The atmosphere is relaxed and has a fun vibe. Other folks were enjoying their meals and we felt that it was a great experience on opening night!

Been to 421 twice, and both times the food was excellent. Overall, 5 stars, but subtracting one star on service rating (Beta) only because of an extremely slow kitchen the first visit. No issues during the second visit, so I’ll add the fifth star for service if a third visit goes smoothly. Looking forward to trying their pizza. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Excellent beer selection. Overall, a very welcomed addition to the dining scene in Bennington.

Great pizza and beer along main street Bennington. Pizzas were delish, thin and super soft. I got the “No sleep till Brooklyn” which had Chorizo, basil and honey. My wife got one with butternut squash, maple syrup and caramelized onion. Also got a hot tomato oil & bread appetizer and some dang good ciders. Definitely recommend.
