We had always been pleased with Assaggio’s pasta so we thought we’d try one of their pizzas. We ordered a half ham and pineapple and half hamburger and pepperoni. Visually, the pizza was not cut into even portions nor were the toppings evenly distributed over the pizza. The pizza itself had very little taste. Like the toppings were not cooked with the pizza but thrown on as an afterthought. The pepperoni still tasted like cold cuts, the hamburger was way overcooked and the pineapple tasted watery, like straight out of a can. We had really high hopes and were left very disappointed.

This a solid option for a fast casual eat out, or for ordering take out. The pizzas are thin crust and with plenty of toppings. They also have a decent amount of pasta and appetizer options.

Hands down the best pizza in town! We ordered pickle chips and they were decent but were served in a literal pool of oil (won’t get those again). If you’re looking for an excellent pizza they will never let you down!

We finally got the chance to try Assaggio’s out the other day, and it was better than we ever expected. We got a meat lovers pizza, fried ravioli, and the garlic knots. The fried ravioli was hands down the best fried ravioli I’ve ever had. All of the staff was super nice, and asked us a few times to make sure we were happy with our food. The staff was also very helpful with helping us figure out what we wanted to eat. I highly recommend trying Assaggio’s, if you are anywhere near Fuquay!

I ordered 6 dinner meals tonight, ordering it over the phone on our way home from hiking Raven Rock. Dinner was ready in 25 minutes! My in-laws wanted to treat us, so they went in to pick it up. 4 chicken parmigian dinners and 2 eggplant rollitini dinners, all with penne Ala vodka as the side pasta dish. Each dinner came with salad and they gave us 3 trays of garlic knots.

Assaggio’s is a favorite for many reasons…I can vouch for the pizza and the lasagna because those are two favorites that I do not attempt to make at home. Even when they are busy with takeout orders and the tables are almost all occupied, the service meets and exceeds expectations. The location and parking is easy and, regardless of the time of day, I always feel safe.

So very disappointed today. I ordered a stromboli. What I got was a calzone. I specifically get strombolis and not calzones because I do not like the doughy ends or corners. Not to mention because of the shape these are not as easy to share. Extremely disappointed In today’s purchase! Which is sad considering I usually love their pizza.

Disappointing visit. Chicken Parm: chicken was overcooked and chewy. Sauce was watery. Turkey and cheese sub: amount of turkey was laughable. Prices too high for the quality of food served.

Delivery fettuccine Alfredo add chicken arrived nice and hot and was delicious! I was missing garlic knots that come with it and extra ranch for my salad that I paid extra for! Also my extra order of garlic knots was described as dripping with garlic butter and mine were dry as a bone! So nasty and I am very disappointed that I had to pay for this mess!
