Fantastic, high-quality Italian restaurant that offers a first-class experience. The service was excellent and the menu was robust. They started us off with delicious bread and olives…on the house. A nice touch. The Caesar salad was very good, but the main dishes were absolutely delicious. I went with the black truffles with risotto and my wife had the shrimp with risotto. Both were very flavorful! We shared the homemade tiramisu for dessert…wow! All in all, a top notch experience for date night.

An old world Italian restaurant in the heart of Greenville. Can get busy, definitely will need a reservation. The portions are ample, service is pretty good. Not fancy, can get noisy if larger parties are in attendance. Fresh and flavorful.

We had dinner here twice. The first time was a clear 5-star experience. Amazing authentic Italian food, great service. The second time was a very different experience. The food wasn’t good at all. It was just average. We agreed that we would not give it more than maybe 2-3 stars. It also came with quite a delay. The waiter told us that they had a new chef in the kitchen. We have cooled on this restaurant a lot. What a pity.

This was our 4th or 5th time eating at Bergamo and it’s official, my husband and I both agree it’s our favorite restaurant in Greenville. The service has been 5 star every time we’ve dined, food is delicious specifically the duck and Fegato. Save room for tiramisu and an awesome espresso martini to top it all off. Truly a gem in a sea of restaurants in downtown Greenville. We love it!

Went here with a friend and holy smokes this is one of my favorite spots. Met the two owners tonight and they were really sweet and accommodating, even sent us an app. Ordered a nice red (selection here is crazy) and the ribeye which is local. I’d give it 6 stars if I could, spot hits.

The owners very nice, accommodate us at the bar. The bartender was excellent, very knowledgeable about wines and made several recommendations. The food was fantastic from appetizers to the main course. The pasta is homemade including the sauces. This will be a regular dining experience for us.

Took my wife here for her birthday. The food was amazing but being that it’s a northern Italian restaurant with an Italian chef I would’ve loved to see a lot more on the menu like cacciatore. Otherwise everything was amazing besides the atmosphere. From the outside I figured this would be a quiet perfect place but it is was too noisy to have a conversation or even to hear the servers. This is one of those places you try once and recommend to everyone but it’s not a repeat for me.

A downtown Greenville original restaurant. Bergamo never disappoints. Love the ambiance, professional servers and of course the authentic Italian food.

I’m in Greenville for the first time and I came across Ristorante Bergamo during a walk. The menu looked great so I made a reservation for Friday. It’s such a great little spot with super friendly and knowledgeable staff (Shout out to Mike the Bartender). I met both owners and it shows that they love what they do. The atmosphere is cozy, the wine list is good and the food? Delightful! Next trip here I’m definitely bringing friends! Buon Appetito!!!
