Me and my husband have been trying to find a good barbecue place close to us so we’ve been trying many types. With that being said we decided to try boomers for the first time the other day. I’ll start by saying the ordering process was really fast. Getting our food was pretty quick The staff was amazing and very friendly.

I had the pork parfait, it was pulled pork and twice baked potato casserole layered in a cup. It was really good, meat was flavorful. If anything, I would add or offer green onions and bacon pieces in the potato casserole. We had cheese curds, they were great and fried pickles, they were good. The ranch dressing was packaged Otts, I wish it would have been like a house ranch, made fresh. Most may not be as picky about ranch as we are. My husband had brisket, he was disappointed, he said my pulled pork was much more flavorful and smokey than his brisket, which is always the opposite in pulled pork v. brisket. I’d go back, the menu has a lot I’d like to try. Prices very reasonable, very clean place. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

A mix between BBQ and comfort food. I was a little skeptical when I saw they had a drive through and it seemed like fast food. We got food to go though and took it to a park, because we have dogs. And let me tell you, it actually worked out very well. Everything was packed great too and with good thought. Lots of silverware, sauce and napkins. Great for a picnic! Food was good and not cold. Plenty to eat and enough left to make a couple sandwiches for lunch the next day. I liked the Texas toast and we both liked the chicken. As far as BBQ it wasn’t life changing but holds up with other I’ve had. Including my own.

Hubby and I used to go to Boomers quite often until last visit. We both ordered sandwiches and were very disappointed when they came. The meat was skimpy. We love the flavor but not satisfied with the quality of our sandwich.

Usually good but this time I got chicken wings and was very disappointed. The menu stated they were “Jumbo” wings and what I got, I consider to be Small or even extra Small. I also don’t consider 20 wings to actually be “20 wing sections” that would actually equal 10 whole wings. $31.00 for 20 “wing sections” and two large orders of fried okra and a small tip included. Not at all worth it in my opinion. Won’t buy wings again! I admit the pics look ok and taste was good but not worth the price at all.

This was our first visit to Boomers BBQ. The food was great but it was the two young ladies behind the counter great. They were helpful on helping us figure out what to order. Great customer service. To be that caring and helpful to new customers. We visited Thursday March 23, 2023. We will be back.
