I frequent the restaurant just about every other day since October 2019. I tried the majority of the menu and have not been disappointed yet. The food portions are great!! Food is well seasoned. Staff is very friendly. A welcomed gourmet eating establishment to the sleepy town.

GREAT (black-owned) soul food spot in Southern Maryland! We ordered the seafood combo, the Baltimore, and jerk chicken dinners. Everything was seasoned well and tasted as expected! The sweet potato bread pudding, was EVERYTHING!! Can’t wait to visit again!

It is weird that a place that has such great food take forever to receive. Food for thought should the owner or a staff employee sees this post, (I PRAY) If you owned a restaurant and the prices makes your customer sort of hesitant but they buy anyway, the last thing you want to tell them on the second, third, or fourth visit is we ran out. ESPECIALLY IF IT IS A SIDE ORDER OFTEN ORDERED. Also, it’s OK to open at noon, hence, the name, but lunch starts at eleven, so you might want to at least have shhhstuff ready when you unlock the door for service. My rating was based on all three visits after my initial decision to give them a try having to take my wife to her first visit. I go to lunch at 11:45 a.m. in order to enjoy my lunch I had to leave work early and having to wait on the food I found myself over ten minutes late and hiding in the building in order to eat. Loved the food, but the truth is from all the visit I had only been able to eat twice. Turned completely off to high noon.

AMAZING Soul Food Black Owned Small Business!!! For the vegetarians, None of thier vegetables are cooked with meat! We had the Sweet Chilli Bang Shrimp combo with peas & rice and sidewinder fries. And the blackened Salmon with collard greens and Mac and cheese. Dessert was banana pudding and sweet potato carmel Henny cake. The meat was cooked fresh to order! ALL the food was delicious! Will be back to try more options!!! Only takes Zelle, CashApp, or Cash.

I enjoyed my meal,but I didn’t enjoy the staff not saying anything to young lady they were having conversations with to take her ft conversations outside if she chooses to curse so loud at the counter. No one wants to hear all.

Clean & very friendly staff. Food is delicious haven’t tried everything but Jerk shrimp & salmon are great so is the blackened Salmon, chili bang shrimp. I also love the sides and the sweet potato bread pudding is to die for. I highly recommend.

We ordered 2 catfish dinners, they fixed 2 what was supposed to be crabcake dinners ( ONLY IT WAS NO CRABMEAT IN THEM AT ALL), the catfish had no season what so ever. We paid a lot of money only to buy more food elsewhere. Greens were still with no season. We were so disgusted with this place. We will never go there again. I’m sorry to give one star but I had to leave one star to get a review on here. We probably should have walked back out when the worker walked out of the place with her black apron still on , that should have been our first clue. Instead of fixing our meal correctly my husband was hungry and paid the money for there mistake. You should always go with your first impression. We traveled all the way there for a baby shower at Goodies which was awesome. Please please don’t waste your money there.

This was my family’s first time eating here. We ordered two crab cake dinners. The crab cakes were ok, my mom and I ate ours at two different times and we both thought they were a lil heavy on the salt and my mom wished they were more lump. The sides were good tho. I would go again but I may skip over the crab cakes.
