If you are planning on selling the worst store bought frozen taqueetos for 10$ per set of 4 then at least tell your customers first it’s just better practice than letting them find out when they get home antisipating a better meal after they spent 30$ and are hungry thinking they will actually get what they paid for!!! Amazing place I come here all the time just only through the drive-thru they are very nice and cordial but this time I came inside and ordered a menudo with the foot girls at the counter were very nice and attentive the Menudo was amazing for 1195 for this to be like a fast food kind of restaurant it’s about the best I’ve had in the Drive-Thru setting and it’s $3 cheaper than what restaurants are serving every bite was Menudo and hominy now every Saturday or Sunday I have a menudo spot that’s close by I don’t have to go all the way outside the bay this one is about one of the best especially for the price I had to get these Carne asada fries they had me craving for more

Food was good… service was bland. Like the workers didn’t really want to be there I ordered 2 asada tacos and literally got asada and tortillas.. no cilantro no onion.. no nothing lol. The other stuff I ordered was perfect though. A bit disappointed about those tacos though…. it hurt my soul

I ordered 3 burritos at 2:30 am on Saturday 5/6/2023 and they were all wrong. I ordered one veggie burrito Vegan style but it had cheese and sour cream in the burrito. The 2nd burrito I ordered grilled chicken with cheese and it had all veggies with cheese no chicken. The 3rd burrito I ordered shrimp and chicken, there was chicken but no shrimp.I called and informed the female that served us at the window that the order was wrong. Instead of acknowledging the mistake she was very argumentative and told me that I was basically lying about my order. I felt offended and explained that I don’t eat cheese or sour cream and I would not have ordered a super burrito. She insisted that I did and was very rude. I did not like the experience there and how she treated me as a customer. I will never do business with them again.

We had such high expectations for California Burrito because its menu reminded us of our favorite Mexican food items from San Diego. Unfortunately the food did not. I ordered an $8.50 carne asada burrito and 3 rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese for $5.25. Like San Diego, I appreciate that California Burrito did not put rice and beans in its burrito. Regrettably, the burrito also lacked carne asada. The burrito fell flat and could have doubled as a decent rolled taco. Not much to it! The rolled tacos were a joke. First, almost no meat and the meat detected was like a thin meat stick. Also, “where’s the guacamole”? Hell, “where’s the beef”? California Burrito is a hike to get to from Walnut Creek. Given our disappointment I don’t see us traveling the distance to be disappointed again. The best I can rate California Burrito from this experience is 3 stars. That is being overly generous. Still hunting a location that serves Southern California Mexican food. Did not find it at California Burrito.

I enjoy eating their I especially enjoy the churros the service is always great people are always friendly nice the first time I went inside to eat was yesterday the 4th of July America’s birthday it was clean and pleasant inside I also enjoyed the service bar was nice and clean and had plenty of service cups for you to get your add-ons to your food I ate outside with my best friend Ziggy and my son got off work and joined us great place to eat I love them and they’re open 24 hours I’ve went several times throughout the day early in the morning too late at night always pleasant great service great food but yesterday they didn’t put no meat on my burrito I had more onions and peppers and a burrito I usually get a quesadilla and shiro but I tried two special burrito with the beans cheese and rice beans cheese and rice was good but I didn’t enjoy my burrito because all I had was onions and peppers in a little bit namese other than that I love you and I will return
