Friendly service and great food! My friend got the prerequisite 3 cheese coneys, and an order of fries… I had just been to Gold Star a couple days earlier, and saw some great salads on the menu I wanted to try. I have the salad with chicken, cranberries, and pecans…it was really good… And big! Had to take 1/2 home!

It doesn’t matter when I have gone to this GS, the service is great the staff are polite friendly and they greet you with a smile. There some places you are met with “oh God another one” look. But not here. Thank you staff for your hard work hope to you soon!

This Gold Star does not do burgers. That was a bit of a shock as every other Gold Star I’ve been to, including the other near Newport, does burgers. That is confusing for the consumer. The food I had though was good.

Was alright, the owner got upset with the server because we ordered the wrong thing. I was surprised being from Ohio they didn’t serve burgers. As I was writing this review the owner was going off on the little girl in the picture. She was new but the best server.

Food is always correct, fresh & delicious. However, after a long work day I don’t expect or desire to sit in a drive thru for over a half hour. They don’t appear to be short staffed – just one girl busting her butt while everyone else stands around. No other worker besides the ONE girl was worried about getting orders out. Disappointed because I rarely have problems at this location, but this was simply ridiculous tonight.

We’ve been going here for over a decade and by far this visit was one of our best. The waitress wearing a mask was very sweet and attentive. Over the years, the staff have gotten better and better. This waitress was very considerate and I hope they give her a raise or something. You almost see customer service like this anywhere.

I have never been to this Gold star chilli in the evening drive thru. I like to said I was dissatisfied with my 4 cheese Coney’s. They was poorly put to together the chilli was overrun and the Coney’s was just to soggy cheese was just thrown all over all four Coney’s. It was horrible. Never again I will not visit the Gold Star.
