Awesome service, delicious chicken, and the sides were good, except one I tried that I did not care for. The rice and beans was very tasty, the chicken tender and juicy with almost a barbecue sauce flavor to them although they did not appear to have sauce on them. Great smokiness, just amazing. I didn’t care much for the Cucumber salad because it was mayo based and I wasn’t sure and did not ask when I ordered so that was on me. They give a fresh baked (very soft and delicious, warm, fresh) chocolate chip cookie to newcomers so make sure to tell them! Will defintely return and eat the quarter Chicken plate, but would like to rotate sides to find out what is my go to. Try them out!

This one on Village Blvd. is disgusting!! The Smokey used to be my fave for like 10 years UNTIL I ate it from there ..It was literally like soup, and they have the nerve to charge over $17.00 and didnt even give you bread to “sop up your soup.” Lastly they lie on the phone and take turns pretending to be the store manager but forget to mute their phone !!

It smells amazing from the porch. The chicken in the sandwich is very dry… Needs lots of mayo. The cucumber salad was edible. The coleslaw was the worst tasting coleslaw I’ve ever eaten. I can’t even describe the awful flavor. It’s just bad. The BBQ sandwich doesn’t list onions in the ingredients but it’s full of them. Too bad I hated the food because the staff is very helpful. They look up ingredients in anything you ask about. To be fair, we read chicken and BBQ sauce on the menu and assumed that was it so we didn’t verify all the ingredients with staff. It was overall pretty disappointing because the smell outside of the roasting meat is truly tantalizing.
