Ordered take out, curbside . Cheese enchilada, tamale, rice and beans. All were excellent, authentic, flavorful, hot even after arriving home. Perfect size proportions. I highly recommend and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I’ve been to El Potrero south on 4 separate occasions. My first 2 were 5* experiences. Great food, great service, couldn’t ask for more. But consistency is the key to a successful restaraunt and they do not have that here. I had the al pastor all 4 times. The first two times it was perfect and came as advertised on the menu (pineapple, onions, cilantro). It was tender and seasoned just how I like it. The 3rd time I went the tacos were overloaded with meat (cool right?) But no. The meat was flavorless and greasy, just dripping in red sauce and no cilantro, onions, or pineapple on the tacos, just meat. I thought maybe they had an off night so I decided to try again and it was even worse. Margaritas came with no salt which was rhe first indicator. My glass had salt the other 3 times. But the al pastor was borderline inedible and I did not finish my meal. Meat was tough, greasy, and the only flavor was salt. There was onions but no cilantro or pineapple. I will not be going back. $80 for dinner and drinks for 3 is way too much to walk away unsatisfied.

Went for Cinco de Mayo. Wasn’t really busy at all. Our server had maybe 3 other tables. Food was ok I guess…flan tasted frozen and weird- not authentic at all.
