Hattie’s was our breakfast spot this morning. Definitely a downhome meal. Do NOT walk in with the fast food mentality. It’s cooked to order and well worth the wait. I had the omlette with cheese, bacon, ham, onions, and green bell peppers. It came with buttered toast and grits. Washed it down with some orange juice. Ms. Hattie was very sweet and blessed our bellies. What drew us to her was that masks are enforced. It’s nice to go someplace that honors something so simple to look out not just for yourself, but others.

This place is wonderful. I was in Greenville for business and needed lunch near where I needed to be. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel right at home. I had the turkey leg with rice and my co worker had the smothered pork chops. Everything “stick to your bones” good and comforting. It was just what we needed after a long flight. If ever if the area again, I will definitely go back.

We were driving home to Arkansas and decided to drive through Greenville, MS to look for a place to eat. My wife found Hattie’s Kitchen via an internet search so we decided to stop in. Hattie’s is a small unassuming hole in the wall restaurant serving down home southern soul food that will have you licking your lips and fingers because it is so good. We had some of the best tasting smothered pork chops, black-eyed peas, and collard greens I’ve had in a while. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. If you’re ever in the Greenville, MS area you should give Hattie’s a try, it’s well worth the stop. You can tell that Miss Hattie puts her heart, soul, and a lot of love into her food.

This place is a GEM! Breakfast was so good, 10/10 would recommend eating here. I got a breakfast sandwich with eggs and cheese on the best toasted bread and a cup of coffee for cheap! The staff was so warm and friendly too which was a bonus! Very welcoming. Ate my food too fast i forgot to take a picture. But trust me you should try this place!

We stopped in traveling through Greenville found the restaurant just by doing a search and we were not disappointed. We arrived between breakfast and lunch instead of telling us lunch would not be ready for 30 mins we were welcomed in and they offered to do breakfast for us or we could choose from the lunch menu that was ready. I had vegatables and cornbread, it was absolutely delicious. My husband had baked chicken and he said it was tender and flavorful. Food was wonderful, the secice amazing.

Food was delicious and a TREAT while visiting Greenville. A must have! I called in before coming and was told the menu. The restaurants setup is cafeteria style and the food was premade. Lunch plates on a Sunday are around 12.99 and they came with a meat option, three sides, and corn bread. Some of the options were; rib tips, baked chicken and dressing and fried chicken. The sides included mac & cheese, greens, broccoli casserole, yams and green beans. I had the baked chicken, dressing, mac & cheese, yams, and corn bread.
