This is my new go to Mexican restaurant! Everything is AMAZING!! Portions are huge, the amount of meat they use is triple the amount surrounding places use!! Hands down the BEST!! Their steak and cheese, oh my goodness don’t overlook this place when craving a good steak and cheese!!

This place is located in the big lots plaza. The interior is pretty big and has painted wall murals on several walls. I ordered the fajitas grande it has beef , shrimp and chicken in it. It came with beans and rice and guacamole salad . I enjoyed my fajitas. They weren’t overly seasoned which was nice. However I did think it could have used a bit more seasoning than what it had.

Finally some good quality Mexican food in Auburn! Service is always fast and friendly. I like to come here for their lunch menu and personally can’t recommend enough the Chipotle burrito/Costa Grande burrito. Depicted in the photos are the Costa Grande burrito and a Chimichanga from their lunch menu.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area. Pollo con mole was the best I’ve had in a long time. Carnitas was better than any I’ve had in the area. Portions were better than most places and prices weren’t bad. Don’t believe the bad reviews this place is excellent. I was seated fast served hot chips and salsa within 2 minutes and after I ordered my food was out faster than any Mexican restaurant in the area. I highly recommend.

It’s a large space inside and very clean. They have authentic music and decor, and the wall painting of Costa Grande is really fantastic. I didn’t see any alcohol options, which is a negative when eating out– want that Margarita with my mexican food… but they are still new so could be working on obtaining liquor license. The food was served very quickly, it was HOT and delicious. They have a really big menu but I wish they had more combination plates (they only had a few real basic options). They had no problem with the continual refill of my chips and salsa though, and OMG the Fried Ice Cream was ON PAR– completely authentic and made RIGHT with a honey corn flake crust, then placed in a shell bowl. Wonderful experience!
