Pleasantly surprised by this hotel restaurant! Stayed at the hotel but didn’t have a food package. Food is light and flavorful, quite a few farm fresh items. Service at lunch is pretty quick. Ended coming back twice because it was so good and convenient.

My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant we were expecting a regular underwhelming hotel restaurant but this visit was far far from that. We ordered The farmers toast the calamari two steaks and pasta with meatballs. The food, from beginning to end was fresh and delicious. Our least favorite dish was the pasta and meatballs but everything else especially the appetizers, were very delicious. Along with 4 cocktail drinks. And for dessert the s’mores martini and crème brûlée. The Field and Farm burger, not pictured, was also delicious. Ribeye with vegetable hash and purée was my personal favorite! Thank you to this restaurant! I would drive from Boston just to eat here again and again!

Edited to add: our family took other family there a few days later after our great experience and they had very poor customer service from the manager and from their server. The manager was not overly friendly and seemed to be OK making excuses instead of trying to rectify the experience.

We were there as a group of 20 and they did an amazing job serving us! The entrees were plated attractively! I had seafood that was more than excellent! Everyone in our group raged about the food they had! Our waitress did an awesome job also! We will be going back!

I have had 2 meals here in the past two days, and they both have been top notch. This morning’s Seaside Benedict with lobster was perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everything is fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, creative, and delicious. Last evening’s drinks at the bar were just as impressive with some unique and great tasting twists on some standard mixed drinks. Don’t miss this spot when you’re in Portland.

The food was good the service was not. It was slow and when needed the servers were not helpful and actually seemed to be hiding from you, had to go find them myself for a copy of the receipt. Tonight if have given a tip if they hadn’t snatched my card and run it so fast without a single actual look in my direction.
