What started as a neighborhood tavern in Naplate 1941 by Hank Mucci, was bought by the Allen family in 1975. After outgrowing the original location, the Barn became available in 1985. After it’s short life as a smorgasbord in this converted dairy barn created by Jack Hillard it was bought by the family. Hank’s Fine Food then made the move & became Hank’s Farm. Our families have continued to grow & improve the restaurant & grounds. We strive to bring excellent food in a warm & rustic atmosphere. Enjoy….

We hadn’t eaten at Hank’s since 2014. We were in the area and decided to rediscover the great food and unique atmosphere. I ordered the chicken Oscar which was flattened and battered and then fried chicken breast with a sauce and crab meat. It also has cooked asparagus with a baked potato side. Their salad bar is wonderful with several choices. Their homemade bread is great. The place was very busy so we dined in the bar area. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. It was a good choice at the end of a buying trip for our Red Coach Antiques.

Salad bar is phenomenal. Loaded with house made salads, freshly baked breads and a self-serve cheese block. Salmon was good, but nothing unique or spectacular. They did not have baked potatoes prepared for dinner hour, so I got risotto. It was very good. The stores were not open – as stated on website hours. That was a disappointment. I will definitely go back – even if just for the salad bar.

Found this place by accident and liked the looks of it so tried it out. Glad we did! Dinner and Sunday brunch place. Broad menu from prime rib, to fried chicken, several pasta dishes, and a bunch of dessert options. Started off with a huge salad bar with several fresh bread choices. We chose the steak Gorgonzola served on fettuccine and the fried chicken with baked potato. The steak looked very good and judging by the plate at the end must have been good. The fried chicken was a light batter and very tasty. There were many other things on the menu I wanted to try so we will definitely be back. Very tempted to return for brunch tomorrow!

Food was excellent! Salad bar amazing! Service was a little slow, didn’t really get drink refills. Really cute place, felt bad when they asked if we had reservations, we didn’t, didn’t know we needed them. They seemed upset by that. Adding that to the website might help, we checked there for information. We were visiting from Indiana.

Beautiful environment. So nice to see a salad bar again! I ordered the 1/4 dark which was flavorless but the batter was spot on. The mashed potatoes and gravy had mushrooms, which I was disappointed with. The servers were kind and my husband really enjoyed the chicken parm. The desserts are huge! I love the farm animals.

Best fried chicken ever, outstanding salad bar, home baked breads, large dining room, outdoor seating too. Very friendly and excellent service. Prices are affordable. There is a variety of alcohol drinks and beer. Plenty of parking, very scenic area.
